This home is new on the rental market. Previously, it was reserved for our family use only. It has been completely refurbished this year. It is the perfect getaway for those that would like their private pool and is located in a peaceful subdivision close to all the conveniences, shopping, dining, beaches and activities. Whether you are on your honeymoon or looking for a relaxing, romantic experience, this warm, welcoming, finely appointed one bedroom apartment provides modern comfort with the spirit of Hawaii. It opens out to a covered lanai and private pool, along with a new outdoor kitchen under the covered lanai for all your cooking. Includes, gas oven range , Microwave, coffee maker, toaster. It is at a perfect elevation of about 300' on the lower slope of Mount Hualalai. The lower elevation provides warm sunny days. This home has covered parking and washer and dryer.
Some pics show the old fence around the pool. It has been updated with a white vinyl fence for better privacy.

This property has a maximum occupancy of two (2) and is not child friendly.

The location is in close proximity to Kailua Kona village, shopping, restaurants, beaches, activities, the harbor, hiking trails and golf courses. The core of Kailua Kona where there are abundant restaurants and shopping is a short 5 min drive and the airport is only 15 minutes away.

The accommodation features granite counters. Tile floors throughout. The one bedroom is equipped with a new Cal King bed with memory foam topper, and a lovely lanai with dining table and chairs along with chaise lounges at the pool side along with a Weber gas grill, that enhances the inside/outside lifestyle of Hawaii.

The cottage is over 600 feet under roof.

Your host will provide you with details about the many island activities, tours, sight-seeing, beaches and cultural experiences as well as shopping and restaurants, all within an easy driving distance from your home.

The Hosts have lived in Kona for 33 years. They met here were married in the old Saint Michael's (pink) Catholic church downtown Kona on Alii drive. They now live on a working 12 acre coffee farm in Holualoa just up the mountain from Kailua Kona. They love welcoming guests and connecting them to the rich traditions of the islands. We love the island of Hawaii: the vastness, the colorful and unique local customs, the sunshine and sunsets of the Kona Coast, the beaches and beautiful blue waters along with the hunting and fishing traditions of the Big Island.

If you're headed out to explore the island, you are welcome to use a cold bag for shopping, cooler, beach chairs and towels.

This is a place you will call home... will want to remember... and will return to.
