The complex is located directly across from Kamaole III State Beach Park, which is known as one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in the Islands. It is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, sunning, jogging, picnicking, kite flying, and especially enjoying amazing sunsets and whale watching. There are two pools, a covered pavilion, and a full size tennis court on the property. Every evening the outdoor barbecue area is a popular spot to socialize while grilling the perfect dinner and watching as the Hale Kamaole conch shell band performs their nightly sunset ritual. You will find world class golf courses, fantastic snorkeling and diving, many Maui activities, abundant shopping and delicious fine and family dining all within minutes of Hale Kamaole.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo (unit 218) was lovely! Spacious, ocean view, super clean and the kitchen had every utensil and appliance we needed. The outdoor grill area was great too. I would absolutely stay here again! Only two issues: (1) the outdoor fire alarm was broken for a few days which was really loud and disruptive, and it took the management too long (three days) to fix it; (2) the bed in the unit is King size, but the two sets of sheets provided were Queen size! I asked the concierge for a King size set of sheets, and he said he would contact housekeeping, but he never followed up, so we bought a new King size set of sheets up at the Ross store and left them there when we departed. It was more funny than inconvenient.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location. The condo had everything we need. The air conditioning in the bedroom was good. Kids were a little on the warm side on the sofa bed. The pool was always clean and could always find a spot to sit. The grounds were immaculate and the view from the balcony was great. Loved watching the sunsets from there. Enjoyed time at the tennis court as well. We were always able to find a parking spot.

Our only complaint was that compared to our other visits we felt that the unit could have had a more thorough cleaning prior to us arriving.
