Exquisite 2-bedroom, 2.5 bath house located in a private gated community on Ali'i Drive! With only 16 homes in this community, you can expect peace and serenity staying here on your Hawaiian vacation.

Featuring an air-conditioned home with vaulted ceilings and two master suites, each room has access to lanais, and both master bathrooms come with a whirlpool tub to soak into and relax after a long day of exploring the island. The downstairs master suite also features a 32" flat screen television. The chef in your group will appreciate the new kitchen appliances, which include a double oven, a flat top stove, a stainless steel refrigerator, and a stainless steel dishwasher. Then, when it's time to feast, take your pick: around the spacious 6-person dining table, with your mood of choice, set by music coming from the CD/iPod player? Or out on the lanai, surrounded by our warm, tropical trade winds? When it's time for dessert, would you want to sink into soft couches and catch a game or a good movie on the 42' flat screen television, or lounge on the grassy lanai underneath the warm sun? The many luxuries of this home await you, and yet you haven't come all this way simply to be home bound!

Take advantage of the complex amenities: play a game of tennis, or cool off in the lap pool. Take a walk through the botanical garden, and you'll find yourself at the oceanfront of waves greeting boulders of lava rock. Book during the winter and you may even glimpse the majestic humpback whales on their yearly migration. This complex is located on Ali'i Drive, just two miles south of Kailua-Kona's center, where you'll find a variety of restaurants and eateries, a farmer's market, souvenir shops, and more. Curious for more? The Big Island boasts a variety of terrain to keep everyone entertained: tour a coffee farm in South Kona or go ziplining in Kohala's forests, explore volcanoes and lava tubes in Volcano National Park or take a horseback ride at Parker Ranch, which is the largest ranch in Hawaii. Go stargazing atop Mauna Kea, and if it just happened to be the right season, pack some snow into your cooler, and build a snowman on the beach before you jump into the water for a snorkeling adventure!

Whether you're here for much needed rest and relaxation or for fun and adventure, this home can be the center of your Hawaiian getaway!

My husband and I along with two other family members thoroughly enjoyed our 16 day stay. The house is perfect for indoor/outdoor living with several lanais, close to the water, and across the road from a wonderful small market where locals sell their goods. The neighborhood is beautiful and close (by car) to town as well as several beaches.

Lovely spot - especially the upstairs deck with the view. Do not miss the path to the beach right by the house. It took us a few days to find it!

What a great house, perfectly clean and with a powerful A/C. The ocean is literally 50 yards from the house and the house has numerous lanais on both the bottom and top floor. All of the amenities were in working order and the living room and beds were very comfortable. I would definately stay here again.

I booked for our family of three (all adults). A lot of space for us, but I wanted lots of options for “spreading out,” which we had more than enough room for. Home extremely well equipped (even a coffee grinder—but I had wished for a salad spinner). So lovely to relax on the lanai and take a nap or drink Kona coffee in the morning and listen to the many birds. With two lanais and two full bathrooms, it would be perfect for two couples. Ridiculous amount of closet space. A short amble out the gate to a very quiet beach spot. My daughter spied a sea turtle one day, but I only caught the occasional surfer. Minor quibbles: the jet tub didn’t work, the towels were pretty well used and very rough (but the beach towels were fine), and the old washing machine tore a hole in my shirt (admittedly not a new or high quality garment). Friendly, walkable neighborhood, but not quite walkable to town. Right across the street from a great marketplace, though, which (aside from produce) I enjoyed better than the farmer’s market in town. Worth the extra cost for the comforts.
