Amazing location and property!
Had a fabulous stay in our unit at Islander on the Beach resort. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and peaceful. It was so nice to hear the sound of waves and often roosters! Coconut Marketplace was right behind us so it was so easy to walk and grab snacks, get a couple dinners, and purchase alcohol. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. We arrived about an hour early and left an hour late and were able to check in early and out late without issue. I didn’t expect to hang out at the pool here or the beach at the propery but we were at both every afternoon after coming home. The pool bar is great with happy hour from 3 to 6 and we enjoyed that the pool was peaceful with no loud music, again just roosters and chickens! Lava Lava restaurant is also next store and we walked there twice for dinner. This property is in an excellent location if you plan to go north and south during your stay and it's only about 10 minutes to the airport. The property/room is older, but charming. It's one of our favorite places and we generally stay at 5 star resorts. We will definitely return! Highly recommend!
Great location, lots of things to do nearby and great view of the beach. There was a bit of construction on our building which was a tad inconvenient in regards to trying to get around the workers or getting in their way as well.

Exceptional vacation. We were celebrating Wife's 60th B-day and our 30th Anniversary. It was truley a unforgetabletrip. Much thanks to all that provided. Vicki & I are already planning Christmas here with whole family.

It was a nice place and good location. The ocean view was a nice touch especially listening and watching the waves in the mornings and evenings. Reasonable price for the location and place.

We loved our trip to Kauai and staying at the Islander. It was the perfect spot on the island to see the whole island and explore. You could not beat the ocean view to wake up to each morning and watching the sunrise. The property is well taken care of and is equipped with almost everything you need while you stay. I so enjoyed our visit and this property. We hope to be back!

The view from our Unit was outstanding. Kauai was beautiful and there were many things to do and see. We would recommend the trip and the Unit we stayed in to anyone.

We loved the location, views from the balcony, pool, gardens, hot tub, and all that was supplied for us (kitchen, beach, and bath items)
We enjoyed our stay-loved the ocean view from the window and while on the deck. It was great to walk 2 minutes and have access to shopping, restaurants, and a market. The pool bar was nice, and we also liked the ocean coast path right out the door for walking along the water, or to get to get to a Safeway grocery store nearby. Thanks for a great stay, we loved Kauai!
Waking up and falling asleep to the beautiful sounds of the waves outside our unit was incredible! Not to mention having breakfast on our deck with the ocean and sunshine upon us…. Simply heavenly! We will be back!!
Small room, no real kitchen space. Needs a freshen up.
Everything was awesome! For real. The only thing we would say is that we noticed mold in the headboard so possibly look into getting that treated. Or possibly replacing it with jon wicker? Anyway thanks!!
I would first start off by saying that the host (Candace) is very accommodating and super helpful with any questions you may have and overall an excellent host!
The studio/condo is located right next to the beach and stunning views! Also, had all the things you need and the Host goes above and beyond with all the accommodations you need for your vacation!

The property is great and conveniently located. The location of the unit was the best, beside the pool board walk and beach. The actual unit is tired and showing signs of age. Interior needs to be upgraded.

We chose to stay in Kapaa to be in the middle of it all! I loved the neighborhood this condo was in as everything you needed was walkable!
We were so happy that Islander was our landing spot upon arriving in Kauai. It was convenient, the grounds were beautiful and the studio perfect for our needs. We grilled down by the pool and brought our dinners up to the balcony. We spent every meal we could on the balcony. We listened to the waves, watched the waves and enjoyed the beautiful scene. We had an issue with the keypad not working correctly that was resolved very satifactorily. The farmers market in the parking lot offered some tasty treats and the shops in walking distance were great for both groceries, alcohol, coffee and souvenirs. It was a great stay!
