General Info: The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18 hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60 foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunset. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed playing shuffleboard every night. The view from the lanai is wonderful. We did not swim at the beach because we prefer to snorkel, but the sunsets are amazing! We would highly recommend this unit and resort.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay every year. But this was the best stay yet. We had our wedding and it was magical. We got the 5th floor and had a two bedroom apartment. We come back every year with our family. The Maui sunset always feels like home when we’re there. Can’t wait for next year.

This was a spacious unit with amazing views of the property, ocean and sunset! Our family was able to host Thanksgiving dinner with everything we needed in the kitchen and had a very competitive shuffleboard tournament to round out our day too! A truly wonderful family vacation in the perfect spot!

We were very happy with the condo and had an amazing stay. There were plenty of useful beach supplies provided. The grounds of the property were very nice and there were lots of activities for my kids to do there. The location was great. The property was quiet and clean. Loved watching the sunsets each night from there. The condo was very well equiped and was as described. We were very happy with this rental.

This condo was perfect for our family of 3, and would also work for a family of 4. We enjoyed our time on the lanai. We loved the beach location, and took advantage of games on property: shuffleboard, putting green, playing catch in the yard. The grounds are maintained really well, the pool is cleaned twice daily. The condo itself was very clean. There were no beach towels so we now have some souvenir towels that we bought at the grocery store. Otherwise, condo was well stocked. We brought some Tide pods and were able to do some laundry during the stay. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay that feels like home away from home. Very clean and had everything we needed to get settled in and enjoy our vacation. We are definitely looking forward to staying at this resort again and again.
