Kamaole Sands #5-414 is a breathtakingly beautiful penthouse suite with a gorgeous ocean view! Our condo is located in the desirable building #5 in the heart of the richly manicured tropical oasis of Kamaole Sands located across from Kamaole Beach Park III -- one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui. This unit has it all - stunning views of the ocean, lush gardens, and the Haleakala volcano. The open concept floor plan gives the feeling of spaciousness and openness while having the ability to sleep up to four people.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.

The trendy grey ceramic tile with the “wood-look” throughout the unit gives a classic, clean, beachy feel. The powerful split level air-conditioning throughout the condo will keep you comfortable even on the hottest of days. This unit is tastefully decorated from top to bottom, with absolutely gorgeous furniture throughout. The dedicated parking spot close to the elevator makes getting your luggage to the unit a breeze.
The well-appointed kitchen in Kamaole Sands #5-414 features beautiful granite countertops, stone backsplash, along with all necessary cookware and utensils for those nights you decide to eat in. There is even a full-sized wine cooler which holds up to 80 bottles of wine for those evenings sitting out on the lanai sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun set over the Pacific.
All three televisions (entertainment area as well as each bedroom) have “smart” technology which has access to cable and Netflix with hundreds of viewing choices for family nights. A Rio queen sleeper sofa, custom drapery, and ambient lighting in the valance over the patio door framing the ocean view sets the mood for a tropical evening in paradise.
In the loft, the master bedroom features a beautiful solid oak entertainment center and bed ensemble. The Sealy California King pillow-top along with luxury linens and bedding will ensure a comfortable night’s sleep before the day’s adventures. The en suite bathroom with travertine tile has a shower/tub combination with plenty of counter space.

Awesome! The Condo met all of our expectations. The view was excellent, as advertised, and I would likely be back there to stay if given another opportunity.The only thing I could think of being a little annoying was the location of the air conditioning exhaust location - right on the balcony! Too bad it couldn't be aimed toward the outside wall outward instead. We didn't use the TV as there were no local or national network stations programmed to it. Other than that, Excellent!

This condo was very well maintained. Quiet property, no noise through the walls. Well outfitted kitchen, with in-suite laundry. We appreciated the beach chairs, coolers and snorkle gear available in this unit. The only thing missing was the pickle ball rackets (courts on site with rentals available). The bed linens were top notch and the towels generous and good quality. While we did have a good supply of Dishwasher & laundry soap tabs, it would have been a positive to not have to buy toilet paper given our 11 night stay. That being said, we enjoyed our stay emensly and we'd be happy to book this condo again.

Our family of 4 spent Christmas at Kam Sands and it was our 5th time at the resort and first one in this unit. The unit was spotless and complete with everything you could possibly need. The view from the deck was wonderful both during sunrise and sunset. This building was set back from the busy Kihei road and made the traffic noise non existent, The location within Kihei is great for walking to restaurants, groceries or to the beach. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful property for your next visit to Maui. We won’t!

Very enjoyable stay as the condo is updated and nicely furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped with the added bonus of a large wine/beverage fridge! Beautiful view from the lanai to watch the glorious sunsets👍

Immaculate property on one of the most beautiful beaches in Maui. The beach across the street has wonderful swimming and fantastic snorkeling. There's a good sized coral reef to the left side with turtles.

Beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys provided but no boogie boards. Take one/leave one wine concept is fun. Would recommend providing a few more dishwasher detergent tabs, laundry detergent pods, and hand soap as all were lacking for normal use over our stay. Great unit and we would definitely hook again.

This condo was clean and comfortable. We had no issues while we were there. The AC worked well. Nothing broke. The only thing that may have been nice is if it had Netflix available but hey we were in Hawaii, there were plenty of other things to do! The kitchen had what we needed to cook a couple of times. It was nice having 2 bathrooms as we had 2 teenagers with us. This afternoon sun beats directly into this condo so I do suggest leaving the drapes closed when you leave for the afternoon.
