Cozy, ground Floor Unit. Great location directly across from the pool. Lanai overlooks first fairway of golf course and stunning sunset views and has a glass table with 4 chairs. A/C in the bedroom and ceiling fans in both bedroom and living room. Recently renovated bathroom (April 2023). Fully equiped updated kitchen. Comfortable king size bed. WIFI. 46" flat-screen TV with smart Blueray / DVD player, Netflix streaming. All linens and towels are provided.

Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is a short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!
Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants....

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental is what makes it worth it. The property is decent enough, but maintenance and cleaning could be improved. When we walked into the unit, there was a puddle of water next to the refrigerator. We called the management to report it and they said they would send a maintenance person, but never did. We just wiped up the water regularly and it was okay. The dryer was also on its last legs and made the most terrible noises. Finally, as for the cleaning, the unit looked clean at first glance, but honestly was not. My feet were black from dust on the ground and it was clear then no one had swept under the bed in a very long time. My recommendation is that if you are okay with "decent" and want an affordable location in Turtle Bay, then this property is just fine. If you are looking for something special, then it is probably not for you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Poor lighting in the bathroom. The main light in the living room doesn’t work and the fan elements are missing (remote?). There is a leak under the fridge. I had a clog in the kitchen sink when I was using the garbage disposal and there is no plunger. Luckily my husband is a “handyman“ and he could fix it. It would be nice if there was a flyswatter. positives: Very close to the pool, the bed is very comfortable and it’s nice to be on the ground level we’re from the patio you can take a walk on the golf course path or go to the Lei Leis restaurant. It was important to us to have a king size bed so it would be nice if that was in the description of the property. I had to call and ask.

The pictures are truly deceiving and opening the door for the first time is like a slap in the face.Let’s describe what is not shown nor advertised:* extremely outdated and used ‘outdoor lanai’ couch which was very uncomfortable. (Gross!)* lack of most usable kitchen utensils *covers over the dining room chairs to hide them being worn out*king size bed that needs to be replaced from something from this decade*a bathroom that reflects something from a old, old gas station with torn paint by the toilet, bathtub with serious stains, outdated faucets and daily greeting with roaches.We’ve always stayed at the waterfront villas, but due to a wedding and 20 units needed we thought the estates would be more accommodating, but this unit #33 was by far the worst. On a positive note, security was outstanding and the pool locations were perfect.Don’t be deceived by the false photos or descriptions on #33, a serious overhaul needs to be done sooner than later.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Turtle Bay condos many times over the last 30 years. We love this condominium community and we particularly love the condos on the west side facing the ocean. So, the location of unit 33W is wonderful. We were, however, not overly impressed with how the unit was equipped and maintained. It was clean enough that we felt comfortable, but certainly it didn’t sparkle. The porch and hallway lights were in need of bulbs. Bathroom towels, while clean, had some sort of stain on them. There was a broken piece of molding left lying on the living room window ledge that didn’t appear to belong anywhere. The kitchen was adequately equipped, but a tea kettle would be nice and knives all in serious need of sharpening. We guessed the couch is intended to be used as an extra bed, because it is very uncomfortable for sitting. The front of the washing machine is partially detached and the door to the laundry will not close due to the washer/dryer being too big for the space. Probably the biggest issue is the unit really needs some refreshing, at a minimum a good cleaning and new coat of paint. It’s obvious the toilet was replaced since the last painting, because it is framed by the previous paint color. Decor and amenities don’t make this a welcoming unit. A few nice island-themed paintings/posters would help, as would things like a few books about the islands and a small cooler for picnics.

Thus unit is right on the golf course at Turtle Bay. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai each morning and evening and just enjoyed looking at the egrets and other birds as they frolicked. It is just a few doors down from Lei Leis, which has delicious food. Since the hotel was closed for renovations it was very quiet. The condo is comfortable and nicely decorated. We would stay here again.
