Great location. We enjoy the lower level of the condos. It feels like you are always on the beach!
We love staying in Kihei. This unit is in a wonderful location. We loved the condo; they need to fix the sliding door though. We also recommend earplugs because of the trash hauler - we were just fine with no A/c but with the windows open, it could be loud. Beautiful beaches, tough to bear!
Light, airy, roomy (except the galley kitchen, which was tight and great fun). Two master suites on opposite sides of the unit. One was noisier than the other due to proximity to the designated "park and unload" space for the whole building, trash, and mailboxes. No A/C in the unit, but ceiling fans and windows were sufficient for comfortable sleep. The kitchen could use a good sautée pan for us foodies! Otherwise it is very well stocked, very clean. Showers and beds are great. Location is a knock out - we rolled out of bed and stepped outside with bare feet every morning to walk on the beach, watch whales, or read on the grass. Easy walk to amenities across the street - natural food store, snorkeling gear, shave ice, etc. Fantastic retreat for 4 adults.
It was a nice, convenient place to stay. There is a broken lawn sprinkler in the yard, just outside the patio door. So at 10pm, it sounded like a rain storm.
Everything as advertised, nice unit, close to water and beach, great pool. Our family loved the condo

Online description did not match the property. The glass on the dining room table was damaged & removed. We were told it would be replaced but we were left all week without a dining room table for our meals (we were given a 10% daily rate discount). The bathroom towel rack fell off the first day. There were small bugs/ants everywhere. The tile baseboards were unfinished and unclean looking. The paint was chipping. The couch was old and worn, which we covered with a fitted sheet. The lanai deck doors & the beeping smoke detector were fixed upon request. We did appreciate the ground floor location, the lanai, and the access to the grounds & ocean. The residents were friendly & welcoming. We would return to Kamaole Nalu but would not rent this unit again!! Caldwell Bankers listened to our concerns but would not accommodate our request for a 20% daily discount.
The condo is great, steps from a great beach, grounds were well kept and great for watching the sunset. Unit was well stocked for everything we needed, including beach chairs and towels! Convenient location in South Kihei, able to walk across the street for almost everything. Had a minor issue with the washing machine, contacted the management company, they sent someone there to fix it very quickly.
Overall it is a great spot, great experience, would definitely recommend.
This is a relaxed, very convenient place to stay. Only real drawback is that it's right next to the elevator on the 1st floor, so you hear people coming and going. Not recently updated, but good functionality. Ground floor is nice with kids as they can easily play on the lawn and access to the pool and beach is easy.
Location! Liked being on the beach and on the ground floor. Didn't like having to be connected to the internet to find the wifi info.
