Great location, with a really good view of the pool. The kitchen was helpful to have meals, snacks, and coffee. The pool was amazing and fun for the kids. The Lanai (patio) was always shaded which made for nicer meals together wuth a perfect viw of the pool. It was a quick 2 minute walk to the beach. This location is in the perfect location to travel north and south. We were able to get to all of the beaches that we wanted to within 30 minutes. It was nice to have two full size beds for the kid's too. Bring extra laundry soap. The room comes with 3 loads of a soap.

My daughters and I had not been on vacation in years and nearly did not plan our trip to Kauai. As the summer progressed, my middle daughter who is heading to college sort of begged me to plan a trip for us before going to the East Coast for undergrad. I was lucky to find this gem on VRBO and could not have been happier! Conveniently located on the eastside of the island, we were able to easily drive to beaches and towns in the north and south when we wanted. Even Waimea Canyon was convenient from this property. There are so many cute shops and eateries near the resort and with Safeway right across the street, we frequently purchased groceries and cooked right in the amazing kitchen. What was most important to me as we planned the trip was spacing for all of us. There were two separate bedrooms - one with a king bed and the other with two FULL beds. Having full beds in the second bedroom was great for my daughter and her boyfriend in one bed and my other daughter in the other - all three of them are over 6'. We definitely could have used the sofa bed but we didn't even need to! It was also great to have three bathrooms for showering after hitting the beaches. There were televisions in each bedroom as well as the living room which was nice when some folks wanted to sleep and others wanted to stay awake and watch the tube. The kitchen was well appointed - this coming from someone who cooks all the time. There were lots of plates and silverware too so we did not have to run the dishwasher frequently or wash dishes very much. The full size washer dryer combo really came in handy because we like to pack light. Loved having the boogie boards, small cooler, beach chair and mat included with the property as well. It was really great waking up early and walking to Waipouli beach to watch the sunrise. Having the pool and hot tub nearby was also great - I am an early riser and took advantage while the kids slept in. The restaurant on the property has a bar and drinks are allowed at the pool area. I wish I had taken advantage of the barbecue grills but I am sure my daughter's boyfriend hit the fitness center a few times. I am so happy we found this gem and can't wait to return!

Having stayed in the condo project before, we were aware of the common grounds an amenities. Very large pool with dual slides and water pathways. Perfect for children and adults. Beach area was nice. Water was a bit more choppier than I was used to, that seemed to be the case on other parts of the island also. Locals seemed to confirm the ocean water conditions were rougher than normal. The two bedroo unit we stayed in was nicely decorated and had a view of the pool area. Unit was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with cooking accessories.. Also, nice to be able to have an in room washer and dryer. Although there is no elevator in the F building, there is one fairly close in G building with access to 2nd floor of F building. Next available elevator for Floors 3 and 4 is in E Building and a little bit of a walk. 15 to 20 minutes to Lihue avoiding rush hours, Kapaa town just up the street and a Safeway market with retail center across the street. All in all, a good vacation had by everyone in our party.
