We had a lovely time in Waikiki at this unit.
The photos are accurate and the unit was very clean. It was nice to have a kitchen as well as beach chairs, etc on the balcony. I really liked having the coffee shop in the building, as well as the koi pond in the lobby.
There was just a small blip with check in. The electronic lock is a bit tricky and unintuitive. In addition, we were given the wrong code and didn’t realize it until we got back from dinner late the first night. Some of that’s on us for not testing before we left the unit. We were just really hungry.
But overall, everything went well and I would use Captain Cook resorts again via Vrbo.

Unit is nicely upgraded and spacious and is good for a family. great view over the pool which is on a quiet deck Towels were plenty. WE have used Captain Cook many times before and I want to comment on kitchen amenities which is why one often rents a condo with kitchen instead of a hotel room.In order to make a condo stay more convenient especially where one is doing any kind of cooking for a family - some items should be addressed. I would just say the kitchen needs an upgrade. especially if one is doing any amount of cooking. - The unit needs a tea kettle, it had only 3 wine glasses , and other glassware is also no sets of 4 and kind of mismatched.There are NO tablespoons to eat cereal or soup, an extra set of dish towels and cloths would be helpful as there were only 1 cloth and 2 drying towels. Microwave needs a cover to put over heating food. a spatula to scrape food out of pots would be lovely. There is only one pot holder glove - even a few pot holders would be helpful to remove hot microwaved food. The pots are stick free but have a Lot of scratches - they have been well used. Also a lamp would be helpful in the livingroom to be able to sit and read at the couch at night!Perhaps these items should all be looked at as it seems no one has done any review of what is actually in the kitchen
