This apartment met all our needs. It was the right size, the bathroom decent. The kitchen had the right cooking utensils. It could have used some spices. The master bed was very comfortable and so was the pull out couch bed. The view was nice, I liked being able to see the ocean and I liked the proximity of the apartment to the ocean. Also it was easy to get around the island. There was one main inconvenience and that was the elevators. We were on the 26th floor and the elevators were too full or broken the entire week we were there so we had to walk up or down 26 floors multiple times and that was at a certain point completely unacceptable. It’s important to know going in that the elevators could be an issue. Walking up 26 flights of stairs multiple times is exhausting. We did end up calling and speaking to the property manager and he was very nice and refunded us 200, which was so kind and appropriate. That being said, I would not stay in such a high rise again.

Great location, and rental company was easy to work with. The other reviews were correct when they referenced how clean the condo was. There was hair in the bathroom when we arrived. The floors definitely needed to be vaccumed and mopped. Bottom of walls needed to be washed. The AC unit LED screen was broken so we did not know the temperature. There was leaking water constantly on the patio outside, not able to sit outside. Over all good location but unsure if we would stay again.

This was our third stay at the Banyon. Fantastic location, reasonably priced and the room was wonderful. We like to cook most of our meals to save money and the kitchen was perfect. Byron, the property manager very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

My sister and I stayed for 5 day's. The room was clean and cute. The only negative thing I'd have to say is the air conditioning is loud and rattles at times. Otherwise everything was good.

Check in process was very easy. Conveniently located near bus stops. Beach was close by to get to. Lots of restaurants near by. Overall would reccomend this place.

Place was easily accessible, room was clean, it was centrally located in Wakiki, it was a block from the beach so a 5 to 7 min walk or so. Definitely satified with the property. 5 out of 5. Would recommend and I would definitely stay at this property again.

This place was in Waikīkī, but near the edge which made it easy to get out of Waikiki to go around the island easier, yet still very walkable.. We had a king bed, AC, parking(!), tv, full kitchen, balcony, pool, playground. There was construction on the building, but it didn't affect us too much. One downside was the elevator situation.. there were 4 elevators in our tower, but 38 floors. I still say you won't find better value anywhere in the area. It really was not that big of an issue. The condo was neat and clean and came well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels, kitchen utensils, etc. The checkin process went smoothly even with a later arrival time, and hosts were responsive.

We went to Honolulu to take our son to college for his senior year. We chose this location for its proximity to his home, the beach, because it had a full kitchen and amenities, and was two blocks from the beach. It’s not in the heart of the Waikiki beaches, so it was not overly crowded, which was great!
Super convenient, with a parking space (which was key!), and very clean. We would rent this again for sure.

This is a nice but spare unit. We really liked the king bed (vs queen) as that is what the bedroom was designed for, and we found the mattress very comfortable. Byron (with Capt. Cook provided OUTSTANDING service on a couple minor issues that needed attention. AC unit worked great and was reasonably quiet/ The kitchen was workable, but slightly under-equipped (only 3 bowls, total; no small plates)...Floor really needed to be vacuumed and damp-mopped when we arrived....View is relatively poor for the building and floor...Suggest guests bring a power-strip for gadgets. Excellent location near the Zoo, the beach, Kapiolani park and Kapuhulu (for freeway access), and decent parking (included!).
