Corner apartment so lots of windows, lots of light, lots of breeze (too much if it gets windy). Wonderful view, pretty quiet. Clean, simple and mostly functional. Bathroom was clean and nice to have a little window. Kitchen is a good size for 1-2 people. Some things really need to be updated: mattress, area rug in living room, all of the pots and pans.
I loved the view and so many windows! Very light and airy, simple decor that was functional and clean (except rug had a pet odor). Quiet floor and close to amenities. Pretty easy check in and host was generally responsive. No-key door lock was handy. A few things: when it's windy it's really loud so I slept with ear plugs. Kitchen was pretty well stocked but all of the pots and pans need to be replaced- very scratched up and old.
We booked a family trip, if we had known it was not a direct booking we would have looked into more. The staff at the Waikīkī Bayon made it clear our booking was nothing to do with them and they were unable to assist or help with any information. The wifi information was incorrect. The apartment was not sufficient sleeping arrangements on arrival and it was dirty, tired with lights not working and lifts always broken. Washing facilities had sand all through the machines and the laundry room was not clean. A fire evacuation happened with no information or direction from staff. We had to go up 21 floors via stairs because of lift issues and after the cockroaches scurrying around decided to look for more appropriate accomodation for our family holiday. Communication was dragged out and because of lift issues had to check out with baggage and two children down 21 flights of stairs. It was an incredibly disappointing part of a long awaited and planned holiday. Definitely would not book again or through a third party of a privately owned unit. Thankfully we found much better accommodation but were left out of pocket due to the glazed reviews and poor advertising of this accomodation.
The room is bigger than what I expected. It's a corner apartment, with windows to view the surrounding and great fresh air if you open both balcony door and kitchen window. You have a glimpse of the diamond head from the kitchen and the mountain view from the living room/bedroom. The laundry room is few steps away. The host was very accommodative with our request for late check out. Will definitely try to stay here again in the future.
Room was nice with great view. Much quieter than other properties we stayed at in the area. The unit is a little worn around the edges, but that didn't matter to us.
One elevator was out most of the stay in the Tower 2 which slowed the elevator service. We know that's not the Kokoresorts fault. We asked several times for items Kokoresorts said they normally supply, but only recieved some and didn't receive them all, such as coffee filters, toilet cleaner and sink cleanser. Overall these were minor glitches.
The TV had been hooked up to some sort of Firefly and it kept going off every 5 minutes. We have relatives that live in Oahu that came to visit and he fixed it. Hope the next group that rent don't have to deal with that. Also the silver ware needs to be replaced. Too small and falling apart. Nice window coverings, nice view, good location. Pool was so cold we couldn't swim in it much. Nice they had free parking.
We enjoyed the location but the ad was incorrect and said pull out sofa bed but it was not. There was only 1 bed for my husband and I. Kids had to sleep on the couch and floor.
A lot of broken, damage or not working items around the condo.
The first thing I saw was roaches in the kitchen and one got into my bag.
Didn't see anymore after the first day. The only other thing was that we are seniors and the furniture was hard for us to sit. The parking and location served us well.
1. Bathroom light never worked. We had to shower with cell phone light.
2. Full size air mattress had hole and never worked.
3. Replacement air mattress was delivered 3 days later but in twin size only.
4. Customer service never picked up or answered phone calls.
Our stay here was excellent! Everything was as described in the listing. Only 2min walk to the beach. The only thing is you have to wash your own towels and sheets. The Hotel does not provide extra towels. Parking is easy if you park on 5th level. Starbucks just 1min walk. Excellent property that fit our family of 6
Overall the location it’s great it’s 2 blocks away to the Waikiki beach . But we have hardy time for check in the owner never reply and never send us the door code . The owner of the place lock of communication it’s hardly to be reach out. Only we like the location
