This was my 4th time on the island, 3rd time staying at this property. The property and unit were just as pristine and well kept as the first time I stayed there in 1998 then in 2011 for my wife and my honeymoon. We've done the tourist thing in the past, but this time we decided to just kick back and relax, and that's what we did for 8 whole days! This unit was the best so far, everything was as described, beautifully kept, short walk to the beach, awesome pool and i love how there are 2 BBQ grills in the pool area so you can take a dip while grilling. The property is off the beaten path so theres not alot of foot traffic so you feel isolated from all the commotion of tourism, but still close to shops, restaurants, bars, farmers markets etc... in all directions. We went to Costco and stocked up on beer and food and cooked alot at the condo for breakfast and dinner. We hung out on the lanai about 80% of the time drying off from swimming and just enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. We had, and I would highly suggest, a pair of water shoes for the rocks in the ocean. To sum up, everything was perfect and one of the best, relaxing vacations we've ever had. Mahalo Garden Island Properties, we'll definitely be back!
The condo was just as advertised and was beautiful, with a lovely ocean view. The Kaha Lani complex has never disappointed. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool is great. This was the fourth condo we have rented here, and if/when we return, we’ll try to get 114 again.

Thank you for the stay.
This 1-bedroom 2-bathroom w shared shower condo was perfect for my husband and me plus my sister. She slept on the sofa bed that was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and most utensils that we needed. We didn’t need AC during our Xmas holiday stay. The ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom was adequate. It was awesome to be able to simply walk out the ocean facing doors and walk along the beach. The swimming pool was clean and thankfully it was heated. Parking was conveniently right in front of the condo. WiFi and Netflix service was available. We highly recommend this resort and would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time. We liked the central location and the accommodation was just as described. The view was beautiful and the condo had everything we needed to be perfectly comfortable. We would definitely stay again if we get the chance!
The only complaint I have is there is no air conditioning.
Other than that it was amazing!

Property was just as advertised. Centrally Located. Beautiful sunrises every morning. Did not have A/C but really didn’t need it much. Plenty of fans. No need for alarms, the roosters take care of that for you! :) Many restaurants a few miles away. Ocean was too rough to swim in, which was a bummer, but Lydgate Beach was nearby and very safe. Wished for a few more washcloths. Only two for the whole stay. Did not want to do laundry. Brought enough clothes with us. Would stay here again and highly recommend it to family and friends.
Our stay was good. We had to reach out to the property manager for a couple of things and they were super great and attentive to to issues. The unit is a great location on the property. We enjoyed the ocean breeze into the unit and the breeze was a life saver at night. The ceiling fans were helpful but the stand up fan in the main bedroom was necessary for additional air movement. Overall we were pleased with this place.
Quiet neighborhood, well landscaped property, close access to Wailua and Kapaa amenities, relaxing view. Cell coverage bad for Consumer Cellular (walk 50 yards for ok coverage) but good for Verizon. Wifi was fine. Wish ceiling fans were a bit stronger. Condo stocked with 4 beach chairs and other recreation amenities. Pad on bed was slippery so occasionally uncomfortable. Pillows were uncomfortable for us (maybe not others). We interpreted the listing as having a washer and dryer in the unit, but these are actually in an adjacent building.
We really enjoyed our stay as this place was very secluded and close to the beach. We were able to walk to the beach area to snorkel and life guard was near (for us beginners) but a close drive to the town.
The condo was just like the photos—comfortable and well appointed—but it was the location that stole the show. Looking out at the ocean from our patio was a dream. The pool was lovely, and when we walked down to the beach, we often had it to ourselves. Also, the rental company was accommodating and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again!
