This lovely Kaua`i vacation rental beach cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bath all on a beautiful sandy beach.
Primary bedroom has a new Cal-king bed with private bath, TV, and is situated on the ocean side of the house with a lanai door for easy beach combing access.
Second bedroom has a queen bed and shares the guest bath with 3rd bedroom that has 2 twin beds (can be converted to a king for additional fee).
Full kitchen, dishwasher, complimentary high speed internet access, Cable TV, washer & dryer compliment this charming beach home right on serene Anahola Bay.
Hale Makai beachfront property location is easy driving to Waimea, Poipu, Lihue, Kapa`a to the east or Kilauea, Hanalei, Anini, Princeville and Haena to the north. Watch the moon rise and stars at night from your beachfront property!
Ocean views of beautiful Anahola Bay from your living, dining area, outdoor lanai and master bedroom. Take a sunset, sunrise or moon rise walk along beautiful crescent shaped Anahola Bay. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The location is beautiful and on a quiet street. Being able to just walk outside and enjoy the ocean was amazing. Enjoyed early morning walks, snorkeling, and late afternoons watching the crabs. I would highly recommend water shoes due to the rocks and coral. Would definitely recommend this home for a larger family. The price I felt was a little high, but we absolutely loved it.

We value having a great place on the beach, away from hotels and the ability to cook some great meals with local meat/seafood. Hale Makai mets all our objectives and then some. The bay in front of the property is perfect for light snorkeling and just bobbing up/down with the waves. Management company was very responsive to any issues too. Great VR.

We had an amazing time. The home was very clean, kitchen was fully stocked with all you could ever need. Communication with the property management was great. We had an issue with the dryer not working. I reached out to after hours and Sue was quick to respond and had someone out to fix.

This home was exactly what we were looking for! It was exceptionally clean and the kitchen was stocked very well. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings out on the patio, listening to the waves. Each guest bedroom has their own AC controls which was A HUGE BONUS! The owners have thought of everything including beach towels and chairs! What a beautiful home and we will comeBack!

We enjoyed our stay at the beach front home with the ocean at your doorstep. We were able to enjoy various water activities in our own private space. As others have mentioned, there are rocks in the water, but we wore water shoes, which we needed in most of Kauai. It was easy to rinse the shoes outside and leave them to dry.The inside accomodations were roomy for 3 couples and the lanai was a comfortable spot to spend the evening and avoid the sun at it's peak. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Property needs to be cleaned throughly inside and outside. All the windows and screens were cakeda ml with dust and dirty. The ceiling fans are all completely dirty, left over food was found between the couch and Coffee table. Towels were wet and folded nicely. The location is beautiful and views of the ocean amazing. I questioned why almost everything outside was chained and locked outside and every window had wooden dowels until someone came onto the property and stole personal belongings from the backyard and tossed the ladder that was leaning against a palm tree into the bushes near by and anything not chained together. There is a homeless camp a few houses down to the left and a large homeless camp on Anahola bay beach to the right, Read the reviews of that beach. The management offered to have the house cleaned but I prefer to check into somewhere clean before I arrive and not have to have it cleaned while I’m there. After notifying them of things going missing and things being tossed about in the backyard, They suggested I use all the window dowels at night to be safe... and to make a police report. Not something you want to do while on vacation. I cannot recommend this location my wife was scared to leave, worried about sleeping at night. If things weren’t stolen, the house was cleaned, and homeless camps weren’t on either side I would stay again.

My family loved this home! From the unique furnishings to the spacious bedrooms to the well-appointed kitchen. The Beach accessories included snorkel equipment, beach towels, beach chairs - just about anything you could want. And the location was hard to beat. Direct access to a nice beach with lots of rocks as well for exploring the tidepools.

This house is exactly as shown on the website. If you are looking for quiet, this is where you want to be, it's not a tourist town, it's a quiet residential neighborhood. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, the rooms are air conditioned for sleeping. The beach is very private and it's a great walking beach, the ocean is a bit rocky in front of the house but you can find some sandy spots to go in and most of the time there was hardly anyone on the beach. We would absolutely stay here again.
