The house had great space, wonderful views and good equipment. We really enjoyed our time there.
The house is wonderful. Good sized kitchen, big pool, comfy beds, nice bathrooms. We spent most of our time outside in the lanai outside the main level. We had a problem with one of the sliders. Sarah sent handyman Juan to fix it in a timely manner. We used the used gas grill once. Worked good. No problems. The pool and spa was great. We would come back again except for one thing. My husband is pushing 80, it was hard with all the steps. He made do and was careful. And thank you for the chocolate macadamia nuts. A welcome treat. Beautiful ocean view. Also, the neighborhood is nice with close shopping.

The stay was for a family get together and worked out perfectly. The house was as described, in a great location and had all the amenities needed for a large group. Thank you for hosting us.

My family had a wonderful time here at this vacation rental. Sandra was so helpful with any questions! The cleaning crew did a wonderful job. The pool and hot tub were a nice addition to our stay and my family used it daily. The view from the upper lanai was beautiful. The beach below was rocky but we did have a chance to snorkel one day when the water was more calm. It was great to have air conditioners in the bedrooms to stay cooler when needed. Most of the time we just used the ceiling fans. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans etc for cooking. It was the perfect location for my daughter’s boyfriend to ask her to marry him. We would love to come back again someday!
My whole family loved our stay here. The back porch view of the ocean was so peaceful. I loved enjoying this morning view with my coffee while listening to waves crashing.We were very excited to see whales on our first morning! Even saw a whale tail as it descended.

We had a great time at a great location. Morning coffee on the upper balcony gave us views of outriggers, surfers, and Humpback Whales! Sandra gave us great suggestions on her favorite beaches, markets, eateries, coffee plantations, etc. We toured/snorkeled all around the island and got to see the Kilauea volcano erupting (Episode 9 started earlier in the day of our visit!).

My family including my wife, my sister, my brother and most importantly, my 80 year mother (us kids gave her the vacation as birthday gift) and myself loved the property. The view from the deck was absolutely gorgeous and watching the sunsets was second to none. The property is well cared for and the pool and hot tub were very clean. There were plenty of towels, dishware, small appliances including two dishwashers. The only thing that should be highlighted a bit more is that the property is really a 3 bedroom home and they put a door to the basement/wet bar area and called that a bedroom. There is only a glass door separating these two spaces so if couples want privacy in both rooms, that will be a challenge. If it is a big family with lots of kiddos, staying in this space/s then it would likely be fine. Worse thing about this place is that it is so awesome, we didn’t want to leave. :). Thanks for letting us stay!! We would love to return!!
Wonderful home, scenic views, walk to water,, ocean sounds. Stay was to support a friend doing the Ironman event. Lifetime friends, a new grand baby and a glorious week in Hawaii. Excellent communication, everyone happy, positive feedback from all our guests. Hope to one day return. Maloha
The photos don’t do the property justice. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we could ever need. There is great indoor and outdoor space and plenty of beach supplies to make our stay more incredible. Highly recommend staying here.

This wonderful property had plenty of room for our three generation party of six. It’s a short walk to a fantastic snorkeling spot. We enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. It was very close to shopping, restaurants, and activities. The location made a great home base for our day trips to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hilo, Mauna Kea, and Kapaau. Our favorite part was the enjoying the ocean view from the balcony. We even saw dolphins! The AC units in the bedrooms were appreciated. Overall a wonderful place in a fantastic location. I’d happily stay there again.
This property is located within a very short walk to the beach and other ocean activities such as snorkeling tours, etc. Quiet neighborhood on conveniently located. The host met us at the house and showed us around. A very good experience!
This home had everything our family of 6 could wish for! Plenty of space, a well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful interior…but the LOCATION took it over the top. Expansive ocean views while sitting on the balcony every morning for coffee, and every evening with cocktails…just paradise. The private pool was an added bonus!!! We cannot wait to book our next family vacation here!!!
We were a group of 2 families and we have zero complaints. We were worried about the temperature in the living room at first but with the bedrooms cool, the pool and the breezy lanai we were all comfortable. There were plenty of supplies and the beach closet was great. You definitely need water shoes. There was a lack of privacy in the master bathroom but it was fine.
Neighborhood was nice and quiet. The beach attached to the house is all rock and was pretty rough but people go there to snorkel.

We had a lovely stay at this bit of paradise. I hadn’t been this relaxed in years! The private pool and the wonderful views of the ocean were definite highlights. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet but still close to grocery stores and a few restaurants. A perfect place for family or couples. We hope to be back!
Very accommodating home with pool and ocean view.
This house worked perfectly for our group of 7. It's all about location and the view off the lanai for this one. We would spend the day out exploring the island and then come home to use the pool and watch the sunset. Having the grocery and restaurants so close by was a plus for sure. We would stay here again for sure and recommend to anyone. The views of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing while relaxing out back will stay with us forever.
Having all the kitchen and bathroom necessities on-hand was appreciated. This benefit saved us lots of money. The home was nice and clean. With that said being a home and a home located on the ocean there is always something that needs attention. Just let Sandra know. If it can be fixed easily it will get done. We loved our stay. The home is very comfortable and homey. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen for all the meals we prepared for our group of 8. The beach equipment was nice to have for our day at the beach. The view can't be beat. We would definitely stay here again.
The lanai was perfect ! Great for meals, relaxing on lounges and a great view of ocean. Kitchen was well equipped, could not figure out how the ceiling lighting/fan worked so it was a little dark with just the under counter lights. Pool and hot tub were good, not sure if it is the norm in Hawaii but hot tub never really got hot, maybe 90F max. Would stay again as it was great for our family of 6 adults and 3 children of various ages.
After seeing the pictures of the place, one might think it is too good to be true. Believe it or not- this place is even better than the pictures! Everything about this house is incredible. Sunsets from the deck looking over the ocean. An incredibly spacious and clean house (my family of 6 stayed there with PLENTY of room). Honestly, our family did not want to tour the rest of the Island because we were so obsessed with this house! The pool and hot tub were incredible, and being a stone's throw to the ocean simply made our family have a once in a lifetime vacation. Dealing with the owner was truly easy and she was so helpful, patient, and quick to respond. We cannot wait to go back again as I would book it again in a second! This house is a must!
