Spectacular, awesome, and stunning are just some of the comments made by guests to describe the views from this totally private corner unit. D3 at Sealodge is located in the building closest to the corner edge of the bluff so you get both ocean and inlet views. With no buildings in site, it feels like you are on the edge of the bluff all by yourself. Enjoy panoramic views of whitewater waves, Kilauea lighthouse, Anini Beach and Humpback whales on their winter migration. Especially popular for honeymoons and anniversaries, this prime first floor end unit has 180 degree views from all windows (living, dining, lanai and bedroom). At night get lulled to sleep by the crashing waves below and in the morning enjoy spectacular sunrises and the Layton Albatross as they glide along the thermal winds from the bluff. The balmy trade winds and the smell of plumeria and blooming flowers is the beginning of beautiful memories in paradise.
The condo is situated so that you view wonderful sunrises from all the windows. This also means that the sun passes overhead by noon so you don't have any afternoon sun coming in and heating up any of the rooms. The lanai is also sheltered just enough so you get just a gentle breeze as you sit outside and take in the magic of the scenery around you.
Many upgrades were done in 2020. We put in all new windows. The one facing the lighthouse is a solid pane allowing an even better view. New blinds for those windows too. Just finished converting the bathtub into a walk-in shower. The bathroom vanity area and kitchen counters are all brand new We have all new living room furniture and lamps plus new chairs in the alcove. Just finished removing the popcorn ceiling and painting the whole condo. We replaced the carpet with luxury vinyl plank flooring. There are new light fixtures in the living room, alcove, kitchen and bathroom. The new patio furniture and ceiling fans (added a ceiling fan in the bedroom) are in plus new blinds in the bedroom. New bedroom furniture too. The kitchen cupboards were replaced a few years ago. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer. The 43 inch Samsung TV with HD cable in the living room provides an amazing picture plus the DVR allows you to record shows and movies to watch later. A king Serta Perfect Sleeper pillow top mattress provides a wonderful nights sleep plus there's a 27"' TV for watching tv in bed. We have Spectrum wireless high speed internet plus digital phone for free local and long distance calls. Kitchen also includes blender, mixer, electric juicer, mini food processor, pitcher, tea kettle plus spices, various sugars, coffee filters, various oils and salt & pepper. Also provided is paper towels, laundry soap, bar soap and shampoo. For indoor activities there are books, games, DVD, VCR, CD player and binoculars for Humpback whales passing by or turtles swimming near the reef. For outdoor activities, there are beach chairs, towels, mats, cooler, beach umbrella and various snorkeling gear. The outdoor swimming pool was just totally refurbished and reopened August of 2023. There are new lounge chairs too.

My wife and I stayed here while on Kaua’i for our anniversary this year. We have been to the islands several times, and this place is by far the best on the island. It’s clean, comfortable, and the views! WOW, the views. Best sunrise in all of Hawai’i. Hands down. Not to mention that Linda is incredibly responsive and makes sure that everything is covered. We will absolutely stay here again when visiting Kaua’i.

Our stay here was lovely. We lucked into mainly good weather so coukd enjoy activities such as kayaking at Hanalei and snorkelling at tunnels. The condo was well equipped and we made two great fish dinners at home. Sunrise one an and a magnificent sunset on one evening from the other side of cliff were highlights. Highly recommend.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with 10 nights in Princeville. Our last time on the island was 9 years ago, and I expected to spend more time walking the beach at Hanalei Bay and along the trails by the golf course. But we ended up staying "home" alot more to enjoy that view across Anini Bay over to the Kilauea Lighthouse. And even though it was the very end of the humpback whale season, we did see them breaching on two occasions! The NaPali Coast tour out of Hanalei Bay with NaPali Catamaran was a highlight of the trip. Snorkeling at Tunnels on the way back reminded me of Hanauma Bay on Oahu 24 years ago -- before overuse impacted the coral there. We didn't venture down to Sea Lodge Beach as the trail was VERY muddy. One evening we watched a rescue helicopter airlift a gentleman from the beach who had fallen 15 feet and broke his leg, so be careful! We loved the little alcove with windows on both sides to sit and enjoy the view when it was too windy or wet to sit outside. Linda was great and very prompt in responding to messages. We WILL be back, maybe to celebrate 45 years -- or sooner if possible!

We loved our stay here, just couldn’t get over the huge window views directly out to the ocean…watching the high tides and low tides was so relaxing. Despite some bouts of rain (expected at North Shore in late April) and a couple of small inconveniences (next door condo being renovated, water turned off for plumbing issues for a few hours), we had a great stay. Linda is super to work with and always got back to us right away!

Great view, the condo could use a deep cleaning and some kitchen utensil upgrades but overall I enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, did not need AC with the nice ocean breeze. Pool is nice. These are old buildings and as such there is always a few condos having work done on them but it did not bother us to much even though the condo next to us was getting major remodel. I would stay here again, so the small complaints we might have are just that small.

We absolutely loved our time at this well equipped condo with amazing views! The view from the condo was gorgeous and especially for sunrise. We enjoyed having everything we needed with our own groceries to make coffee and breakfast. The bed was comfy, everything worked perfectly. There is a hike down to the beach for able bodied people. We are already looking for a time we can go back.

Our stay at D3 was incredible. The views from the corner unit above the bluff were breathtaking. Once we arrived, we didn’t want to leave the views. The unit was very cosy, clean and comfortable.

As many others have stated the view was phenomenal!
May have just been the time of year, but it was cool, rainy and cloudy. So you may want to book at a different time for sunshine. The condo was clean and certainly met our needs. Linda was very attentive in checking in with us more than once to make sure all was well, even though she was on vacation herself!

Loved our Sealodge stay. Conveniently located near multiple beaches, restaurants & shopping. Everything we needed inside clean & comfortable space. Host was very responsive to questions before & during stay. It’s the absolutely breathtaking views that set this place above all the others though. Gorgeous sunrises, whale-spotting and surfers - amazing!! Would absolutely stay again.
