While we have been devastated by the recent wildfires in the town of Lahaina, the rest of our beautiful island is open to visitors, we welcome you anytime!

This unique & luxurious Asian Style Bamboo Cottage is a custom Eco-designed vacation rental comprised of 1,800 square feet of covered living space, split 'Island style' between 1,000 square feet of indoor space and 800 square feet of 3 covered decks. It’s ideal for 4 Adults ( optional : 2 Additional children on Sofa Bed in Bedroom 1) looking for a private, peaceful & relaxing destination.

Aloha, the 'Hawaiian Dream Temple' is your best choice for taking your vacation to the next level of serenity as you relax and unwind on the large wrap-around deck in your own private hot tub and admire the tropical flowers and vibrant fauna. Listening to the birds while relaxing on the lanai will be your favorite part of the day.

Perfect for romantic and private honeymoons, the interior is constructed of all hand woven bamboo, and with an open air plan, the ceilings and walls allow for tropical breezes to flow throughout the home. The living room is a vaulted Asian style ceiling and the kitchen is fully appointed with appliances and cooking utensils, as well as tea, and coffee.

Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds and a private lanai (Hawaiian for deck) with beautiful seating areas for morning relaxation or evening reading. The bathroom has an over-sized, deep Jacuzzi tub, plus a shower.

As a guest of the cottage, the owner has graciously extended use of his family pool so you'll have shared access to the amazing 40-foot fresh water swimming pool - located a quick 3 minute walk down the drive next to the main house. Designed with an Asian theme in mind, this tropical pool oasis has palm trees swaying in the breeze, creating the perfect place to let your stresses slip away. A lava rock waterfall gurgles next to a shaded balinese meditation gazebo that overlooks a bridge that spans the deep end and 1-foot-deep swimming moats for small kids.

This property is in a tranquil section of the island but well situated to all of the sites and amazing diversity of biomes and habitat and beautiful nature that Maui has to offer. The residence itself is very clean, comfortable and sits on a nicely maintained and private property. Booking and responsiveness and organization of owner were top notch. Thank you for a nice stay.

Location...upcountry close to Notth Shore, Paia and road to Hana. Weather is rainy a lot (we stayed in Dec). About an hour drive to Makena, Kihei, Lahaina, Kaanapali. You get a local feel staying here. Property...amazing cottage. Very unique. Right in the middle of Rain Forest. Has all the amenities. Hot tub on deck is great. Never used pool at main house. Never stopped raining Plus pool is very cold. Overall the cottage is a neat experience. Cons... very damp, strong mildew odor, very cold when we returned home in the evening, Beds/futon pretty uncomfortable. Furniture i.e ottomans in front of chairs are filthy. It was a really nice experience. The pros far outweigh the cons Helpful hint is to turn every fan on that they provide to help air circulation ALOHA

It was a great stay!! We were looking for something quiet, quaint, unique and relaxing. It was affordable, clean, comfortable and hit all our requirements! Lori was responsive to emails, and the grounds were magical! The only thing we wished for was hammocks to swing in!! (That’s not a complaint, that’s just a wish!! ) Stay here, if you want something magical!

It was precisely as we hoped- peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The cottage was fully equipped to hasten our pleasure. We had a bonus of being close to our son who lived close by and served as an outstanding tour guide bringing us to many beautiful parks beaches and hikes. Would love to visit again.

Dream temple was great! Great property that is tucked away in the forest. Birds come alive in the morning which is great to wake up to! They have great amenities, including beach chairs, towels, toys! I was excited they had a hair dryer since I did not bring mine. No A/C but the fans did just fine at night! A little humid during the day when there was no breeze but fabulous just the same. Wished we could have stayed longer!
