SUGAR BEACH RETREAT is the perfect setting for your Maui vacation. Our renovated condo has modern touches throughout and features an "open" floor plan with plenty of windows enabling you to fully experience the ocean air and tropical setting that makes Maui so special. As a bonus, you can sit right on your lanai (private balcony) and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

This remodeled vacation rental is clean, fresh, and balanced with a "Tropical Beach" vibe. We have modern furnishings, original artwork, updated lighting fixtures, and many other thoughtful amenities plus lots of high end touches.

With only 10 units in this quiet South Maui complex on the sunny shores of Kihei, you will be set back in a cul-de-sac away from the street noise of South Kihei Road; yet close enough to hear the ocean waves at night. You will also have an incredible view of the ocean from both the living room and your outdoor balcony.

Pretty much everything inside this streamlined vacation home is brand new. It also has fresh paint.

Our condo is on the second floor and can accommodate sleeping arrangements for up to FOUR guests. We offer a Cal King bed with a deluxe 3" foam mattress topper and use the luxurious bamboo linens from Carialoha in the newly renovated master bedroom. The Cal king bed has new pillows and linens(Carialoha) and comes with an advanced mattress encasement system that completely eliminates the worry of ever having bed bugs. The large master bedroom has its own AC, a folding luggage stand, 2 extra large closets, an upholstered bench, a brand new 50" flat screen TV, and a full ensuite bathroom with a shower/bathtub combination.

The condo has a totally remodeled, high end kitchen with full size, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, glass and marble backsplash, new cabinets, an extra deep Moen sink, and a cute bar countertop with plenty of leg room. Our fully equipped kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, blender, toaster, an electric rice maker, coffee machine, coffee bean grinder, teapot, a microwave, an extra large Brita Pitcher for filtered water, coffee filters, coffee, tea, sugar, basic spices, and even a stainless steel dishwasher (which tends to be a rare amenity in most Maui rentals).

Tara and Tracy were amazing! They worked so hard to ensure the property was ready for my arrival. They checked in often to I didn’t need anything during my stay. The property manager Tracy did an amazing job keeping me updated on any outages, pre-scheduled maintenance and scheduling anything I might reach out about. The location is very close to the beach, they have great air conditioning units that keep the condo cool and comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has plenty of gadgets to cook in house. I loved my time here and would highly recommend booking this condo!

I really enjoyed my week long stay at this condo. It was a great location across the street from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The condo had all the beach gear we needed to enjoy the beach. The couch and bed was very comfortable. Even though the condo didn’t have it’s own washer and dryer there were washers and dryers in the complex and you could pay to use them with an app instead of using quarters. Tracy (the property manager) was very helpful and provide us with lots of information on restaurants, activities to do, etc. She was awesome about answering any questions I had. Also, there was an entire binder with information about the condo, recommendations and even takeout menus! I would definitely recommend this condo to others! Thanks, Tracy!

Sugar Beach Retreat was absolutely perfect for our needs. Such a thoughtful and detailed space, we never had questions unanswered using all the resources and instruction left at the condo. Location was great, felt very private, a quiet area that made us feel like we were the only ones around. Great amenities - we wanted for nothing!! Thanks for all the great care taken to make the property feel like home. Highly recommend!!! Couple in our forties rented a car to explore lots of island offerings, made simple meals at home.

Wonderful low key property in Kihei. We enjoyed easy beach access and walks along the beach. Not easy to walk along the road as many sections don’t have much of a shoulder. Safeway, Ross, Lons drugs are less than 5 min drive. Easy highway access to whip down to Waliea or up to Lahaina. Did not encounter any bugs, property is very well maintained. Oil, salt, pepper and foil etc provided. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were provided and used every day! Recycling depot close by to take cans, bottles etc so you don’t have to throw them away. Only negative would be bedroom ac which is right above your head. It is quite noisy and the bedroom is on the warmer side so it took a few days to acclimatize where we did not have to run while sleeping. Highly recommend this property. Great value!

This was everything as listed. Really close to the beach, stores and other recreational activities. Would book this one again!

Small, quiet comfortable unit! Easy walk to beautiful beach. Fabulous long early morning walks in the surf and gorgeous sunsets. Love this peaceful end of S Kihei Rd and of course, there is the Sugar Beach Bakery just minutes away!!

A beautiful location and a very nice rental. We were so thankful that the rental was well stocked with everything that we needed to make our vacation special! The beach chairs and umbrella sure came in handy! Read the handbook provided by Tara and Mark, it provided a lot of great info about the property and about staying in Maui. The parking was great and the location was central for exploring the road to Hana, Makena Beach and other great areas in east Maui. One thing to note is that the AC in the bedroom was not very strong and the mattress could be replaced. Overall, a fantastic rental and we would definitely return! Thanks Tara, Mark and Tracy!
