We enjoyed the property. I would have liked to have an outdoor area for rinsing sand of diving/snorkeling gear
We enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and very quiet! Close to the pool as well.
Very clean two bedrooom condo, lots of room for four adults, great location. Master bedroom bed was very firm, no problem running the clothes washer and dryer. Nice view of the sunrise from the lanai.
There are several options to rent from during a stay on the Big Island - we chose this location to be away from the "hustle and bustle" of downtown Kona, the spacious lanai, and the convenience of a pool as we were going to be working remotely during our stay. The pool was closed for maintenance 5 out of 7 days while we were there. We brought this to the property management's attention, Grand Welcome, and the customer service representative, Iris, was interruptive and raised her voice several times. Her response was that the pool was managed by a different company so there was nothing that they could do. She repeated this multiple times. There was no communication between the property owners and the management company and no discussion of the scheduled pool closure with us. It took 3 days to get a response from Grand Welcome after numerous calls to the customer service line. They reimbursed us $300 after confirming that the pool was indeed closed. Overall, we would not choose to stay at this condo again due to the mismanagement and possible misrepresentation of the property.
Loved this great property. Very centrally located. Would love to rent for 3 months
This condo was very clean and well equipped. The only problems I had was with the bed and the refrigerator. First the bed needs to be replaced. It sagged. Had trouble getting a good night's sleep. Next the refrigerator freezer door would not open wide enough to pull out the ice cube bin in order to dump the ice in the cooler for our trips. The wall hinders opening the freezer door completely. Other than these two problems the condo was great. Loved the walk-in showers. Great washer and dryer (front loading). Outside of the refrigerator problem the kitchen was well equipped. The location of the unit was great. We were able to walk to the Hilton and the King Shops. Cooler and beach chairs were provided and were a big plus on our excursions.
Location was great. The grounds were beautiful but the condo itself was a bit tired. Gorgeous outdoor porch w sink but no bbq except by the pool. Good size place tho. Didn’t love looking out on the large garbage container
