The Space:
This oceanfront complex has an amazing location that ensures you never have to go far to reach the water. Magic Sands Beach Park is just across the street, while Keolonahihi State Historical Park is a quick drive up the road, and Downtown Kailua is a scenic drive up the coast with dining and shopping options.
Inside the condo, the sea breeze will fill your days with tranquility and joy, while your private balcony facing the resort's beautiful pool and hot tub area (partial ocean view) will bring a sense of calmness.
We provide 2 beach chairs, 1 umbrella, and 1 cooler for guest use. Additionally, any beach equipment left behind by previous guests, including sunscreen, floats, and snorkels, is available for your enjoyment—feel free to use it during your stay!
Conveniently prepare delicious meals in your fully equipped kitchen, or make use of the shared grill area with shaded dining space. Your cozy abode has plenty of space to unwind when you aren’t relaxing down on the sand. Let your cares drift away as you experience all that Kailua-Kona has to offer from your own piece of paradise.
This home sleeps 4 guests between 2 private bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed and smart tv.
Bedroom #2 is the primary suite with a king size bed and ensuite bathroom with shower.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- The home has an additional bathroom with shower/tub combo.
- Washer and dryer in unit.
- 2 parking spaces are provided.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.
Attention: For safety and cleanliness, infants who are not potty trained are not permitted in the pool. Please use the designated kiddie pool for children who are not potty trained.
Please note: Any accidents in the pool will result in a closure of 5-7 days for cleaning and a $2,500 fine. Diapers, including swim diapers, do not prevent contamination from occurring.

Set amidst a backdrop of lush tropical landscapes, Honu Hale is your oasis for relaxation and rest. But when you’re ready to get out and explore, you’re minutes away from the very attractions that draw visitors to the island. Kealakekua Bay is one of the best snorkeling spots in the entire state of Hawaii due to its spectacular coral reefs. Keauhou Bay has some of the best snorkeling on the planet, with the night dives among Manta Rays being an experience you’ll never forget. Explore Hawaiian history when visiting the nearby petroglyphs, ancient rock carvings dating all the way back to the 16th century.
When in Hawaii, you must of course make the most of the many beaches, hikes, and water activities available. Make sure you also dive into the unique culture of Kona, where coffee shops source beans straight from Kona coffee farms, Big Wave Golden Ale is brewed fresh at the Kona Brewpub, and local farmers markets are teeming with artisan goods and just-harvested produce.
Downtown is a short drive away with more shopping, restaurants, and nightlife to explore. Plus the possibilities of day trips beyond Kona are endless!

While the location was outstanding for heading to the beach and sunsets, the property lacked overall cleanliness. Walls, sheets, and bedding were not clean. The neighbors were curt and aloof for such a beautiful environment. I did receive a $250 violation for smoking on the parking lot upon my arrival (not even on the property for 5 minutes) I would highly encourage reading all fine print. I did not, so I was at fault. After that, my guests and I felt that we were being watched every moment thereafter from staff. Creepy feeling!

Everything was great with the property. Clean and comfortable.
It would have been good to know that they provided beach towels, a few beach chairs, boogie boards and some snorkeling gear.

This is a comfortable condo, thoughtfully stocked with your holiday getaway needs. Location is excellent! Right across the street from a fantastic swimming beach. There is a trolley that comes once an hour that happened to be free while we were there. Incredibly convenient for getting into town. (You should definitely advertise this more). The only reason this was not rated five stars is the lack of communication or response from the property management company. Grand. We had a few issues upon arrival and called the number as directed. Spoke to someone who said they would look into it and get right back to us and they never did. Reached out again and we were told we would get a response ASAP. Never received a response entire trip.
