Great place! Great location! Air-conditioning worked great. The only thing I’d wish is if the unit had a few rugs, that would have been nice. Overall, excellent stay!
We loved the rental. It accommodated the 4 of us perfectly. And had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.
We have been to Maui many many times, typically stay at the Westin Villas nearby. We decided to try Honua Kai since we always walked by. Beautiful property first and foremost. However, we found the pools area to be compact, which made it crowded. Sadly enough, never used the pool area bc we could never find seating. The Unit itself was decent. Except the beds were not that comfortable, especiallly the sofa bed. Made a ton do noise even if you moved an inch. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The dryer did not work, it turns on but the heating function does not heat. So we were stuck with wet clothes after washing. And lastly, perhaps we were used to the service at Westin, but in order to request anything, we seem to get a really no help. We still enjoyed our stay it’s Maui, but unfortunately I would not stay in here again.
We love the location and amenities. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the condo but when we did it was clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable.

We loved Honua Kai and this condo! It was very spacious, well stocked with everything we needed and clean! The location was great. It was near shopping, golf and dining. We also loved the many pools, and the onsite restaurant was fantastic. It was a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Honua Kai Resort in Maui. The unit was spacious, and clean. We had plenty of activities to do nearby. We had an incident with the internet one day but it was resolved quickly. We would definitely stay there again.

We booked our summer vacation at Honua Kai Resort with the Stice team from June 25th to July 2nd and this place is just great! The 3 pools keep the kids busy, the beach is just a hop away, there's plenty of bbq grills by the pool to grill dinner,the gym is great and the location of the resort can't be beat. There's a food trucks, restaurants and a market within walking distance. Are room was amazing!!!! Just as described by the host, Super clean, with all the amenities you would need. I think we used the beach chairs and umbrellas every day. Our host communicated with us very well and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. The Stice team met and exceeded our expecting with this room. We will definitely be booking with them a in the future A++
My family stayed here as an extension to our vacation. We liked this unit more than the one we rented prior in the same resort. The layout is perfect, the unit was clean, comfortable, and was equipped with everything you need. The view is great for the price, I enjoyed my coffee on the balcony with the ocean & the mountains while my family snoozed away. The only issue we had was the first night, we went to close the lanai doors and one of the handles snapped off. We hadn’t had any issues with the doors in the previous unit, so I believe the handle was just worn. We let the property manager know and it was fixed the next day while we were out enjoying the day. Overall it was a great unit & we would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in Honua Kai Konea 204. It was perfect for our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids). The unit was exactly as described: beautifully decorated, appliances worked well, clean and very comfortable. Honua Kai Resort was also exactly as described - great amenities and friendly staff. Hawaii Life staff was also super responsive. We couldn't find the BBQ tools and in less than 30 minutes a brand new set was delivered to our unit - magic!! We loved our stay and made lots of memories. Mahalo Nui!

I am originally from Maui and looked for a rental that I could bring my family back for a vacation. The unit had everything that we could have wanted, and then some! This rental exceeded our expectations! What really made this unit stand out was all the little details. Upon arrival, the unit was cooled, cleaned and had a nice welcome gift. It included a pack & play and high chair for the little one, sand toys, coolers, plastic cups for the beach/pool, well stocked kitchen and bath supplies (soaps, trash bags, detergents, etc.), beach chairs and umbrellas, a Keurig AND coffee maker, and all the necessary kitchen utensils. From a location standpoint, it was close to trash/recycling, close to the stairs for easy access to the garage, close to the elevator to get down to the beach and pool and the lanai had a view of both the mountains and ocean. The Hawaii Life staff was also great! They provided clear information regarding the unit and the check-in and check-out process. During our stay they were available to answer any questions we had. We did have broken umbrellas in our unit, and they staff had them replaced within hours!We definitely would recommend this property to fiends & family and will surely be back!

Withheld my security deposit for cleaning that is a made up excuse not to refund. They would not take any proof nor proof us that it wasn’t there before we showed up. Many actual review would show that this is a common practice of this company. Stay away. Oh to top it of, they gave you the wrong address and when you do arrive, their 24/7 support isn’t available. Just don’t. Pick a reputable company.

Family of 4 (myself, 3 kids ages 12-16) stayed here and wished we never had to leave. As a VRBO owner myself, I notice everything, and this unit was immaculate! It was well stocked with everything we needed and even had brand-new appliances. The owners were communicative and quick to respond. The resort itself was well maintained and had several pools appropriate for all different ages. The older kids liked to walk around and head to the food trucks nearby for "snacks" and to the pizza place just across the road. We enjoyed so many adventures-too many to list (paragliding, snuba, surf lessons, cliff jumping, black rock beach). We can't wait to come back. What a great find!

The condo is well appointed for a couple. The resort is in a great location. Family oriented. Not super over serviced but with a good mix of options from cook yourself to a nice restaurant. Self serve activities to a spa.
This rental was just what we needed to feel like we were on vacation, it’s so nice to come to a nice clean rental and feel comfortable. The check in process was very easy and the communication from the Hawaii Life team was amazing, even after hours as well. This rental even had pack n plays for our young children, plastic kid dishes and utensils, and a high chair. This was a very comfortable place for our family, enough room to spread out.
The resort was really nice too, 3 different pool areas, right next to the beach, and easy paths for walks with the young kids. We will definitely remember this rental for our next visit.
Spacious, well maintained unit at a beautiful resort. Nice quiet side of the building and lovely balcony where you can sip your morning coffee, and have a glass of wine at the end of the day. This was my second visit to this resort and I highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Unit was nicely furnished and kitchen had everything we needed. Partial ocean view was over very stated though. When there was a wind you could almost see through the big palm tree blocking the view. We would definitely come back.

We LOVED our stay at the Honua Kai Hokulani 214. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved having the small kitchen to make some meals, the washer and dryer for doing laundry, and the beach chairs and umbrella for us to use. We loved sitting out on the patio each morning to enjoy our coffee/breakfast with the beautiful view of the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. The property manager provided great customer service and responded quickly to any questions we had, including making accommodations to move the cleaning schedule to allow for us to have a later checkout. We loved all of the pools, the workout facility, and having the beautiful beach so close for swimming and snorkeling. We enjoyed eating at Duke's a couple of times, which is right on the property. They even have great gluten free options which we needed. I would definitely recommend this location to family and friends. Thank you for an amazing vacation!
