Communication from the owner was clear and comprehensive.
Overall the condo is excellent.
The bed in the bedroom is comfortable and our daughters really appreciated the Murphy beds in the living room. They are a huge upgrade over a sofa bed.
The property is well maintained. The BBQs are excellent, and the hot tub was great on the cool evenings.
This place is so close to everything yet far enough away from the big resorts that it makes for a very peaceful vacation. All the other people on the other condos were friendly, courteous and respectful. The pool and hot tub are situated in the middle overlooking the ocean where you can relax and watch the sun set.
The murphy beds are much more convenient for a family than a pull out couch would be.
Definitely a paradise. The property was great, it had everything a person requires for a restful vacation. Unfortunately our stay was cut short do to the fires. We highly recommend the location.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described, clean, and completely stocked with all supplies including towels and a full kitchen. The location is great and being able to see the sunset from the the backyard was a nice surprise. We snorkeled right from the property, and one of the highlights of the trip was swimming with turtles there! It is like having your own private bay and beach to enjoy. Everyone was so nice and a shout-out to Eric the property manager who was always working to make the grounds and pool manicured and inviting. Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described, clean, and completely stocked with all supplies including towels and a full kitchen. The location is great and being able to see the sunset from the the backyard was a nice surprise. This condo was perfect for our family of 4. Banana bread and pog provided a nice welcome. The Murphy beds were great for our college aged kids. The sunsets were beautiful to watch just a few steps down from the lanai. There was always a breeze to keep the place cool. The pool and grounds were great as well. We would definitely stay here again.

We were a little worried about no A/C, but the windows and doors opened to allow for a great cross breeze that cooled the unit down quickly. It was well stocked with items for the beach; chairs, umbrellas, towels and a cooler. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but there were masks at the property and we could’ve easily rented some (we rented some boogie boards). The pool was well-kept and a daily favorite for our kids. From the lanai we could see the ocean and had excellent views of whales passing by. There is a small beach just to the left of the property where we saw turtles. The location is great, walkable to a grocery store and food trucks (about a mile away) and minutes away from Ka’anapali beaches and Lahaina by car (we rented one for the week). The host was super helpful and responsive to our questions. We were sad to leave and are looking forward to when we can return, hopefully soon!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sunsets in Paradise a lot. The apartment is nice and functional and had everything we needed. The community grounds are very nice too with direct access to the ocean and a wonderful view.

We had a lovely stay as a family with 2 small kiddos (Ages 4 and 2). This complex is incredible! The property is beautifully located on the ground floor with a walk out lanai that takes you right out to the pool/hot tub and the ocean view! We would watch the turtles swimming in the waves every morning!
The unit comes with everything you will need for the beach, including beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and even kids beach toys! There are also some lawn games, pool inflatables and goggles, and games and cards to play!
This complex is very clean and quiet and perfect for families and couples alike. It is perfectly nestled between Kahana and Kaanapali. The beach at Kahana is within walking distance and the beautiful beaches at Kaanapali are just a short 10-15 minute bus ride away. The bus stop is right outside the complex!! We did not rent a car and found that the bus served us perfectly fine for getting back and forth from Kaanapali (note the bus comes once per hour). Bus fare is $2 for adults, $1 for seniors, and free for kids.
We loved our stay here and will absolutely be back!

This property is amazing. My family enjoyed our morning tea/coffee looking out the ocean. Pool and jacuzzi were right in front of the property as well as the grilling station. Watching the sunsets were one of the highlights of our stay. It was so great sleeping while listening to the water hitting the rocks. Definitely paradise. We will come back and would want to stay in this property again. Thank you Beth!

Great property! Excellent location, beautiful view and a very comfortable condo.
This condo was in a great location in west Maui for a reasonable price, and the views were amazing (especially the sunsets). It was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The pool and grounds were very nice as well. It’s right on the water, but it’s a rocky non accessible beach. But, there were many sandy beaches within just a few minutes drive. We liked airport beach and Ka’anapali Beach. It did look like some tenants would walk down the rocks to maybe get to water access close by. I sprained my ankle early on in the week, so we didn’t investigate. Be sure to bring quarter rolls if you plan to do laundry! The washers and dryers are $2 each. I forgot to bring some, and we arrived on a holiday weekend after several days in Oahu at a hotel. We had a lot of laundry to do, but banks were closed for a couple of days, and we had trouble finding places to get quarters. Once the bank opened on Tuesday we were good (it’s less than a mile away), but it would be a good idea to just bring some if you plan to do laundry. The only other thing I can think of is the reminder that there is no air conditioning in this condo, which we discovered is common in Hawaii. We knew this ahead of time, and it wasn’t a big problem for us. We were there in July, and we only got hot a couple of times, when we were there during the heat of the day. Most of the time, we were either out or by the pool during peak heat times. We slept comfortably at night with the windows open and the cool breeze blowing through. Again, it wasn’t a big deal for us, but if you are very hot natured, it might be something to consider. All in all, it’s a wonderful place, and we would definitely stay there again!
Wow! What an amazing piece of heaven! We feel so lucky to have found this gem in Maui. We loved everything about this place and would definitely recommend and return again. The lanai, yard, and the pool were definitely a favorite for or family.
It was an absolute joy to wake up here each morning. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi each day looking out upon the gorgeous view, and we even saw some turtles! Clean, safe, and quiet in a perfect location.
We had a blast. My grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the lush green grounds. We had beautiful beach nearby and the pool was amazing. The owner was very communicative and everything was perfect for our stay. Very beautiful place, great place to stay near Napili. Lots of turtles to see from the rocky beach on the property. Highly recommended!
The property as everything you need and is in a great location. Several things are close by for those that do not have transportation. The property managers were great and quick to communicate when asking questions. Would recommend this property to anyone and would book again.
My family (husband, myself, 7 year old and 1 year old) stayed at Polynesian Shores for 7 days and it was wonderful. The ocean is right outside your door and so is the pool. It is a very family friendly community. My daughter met lots of friends on this trip as there were many other young families staying. The property is beautiful and very well maintained.
There were sand toys provided and although we didn’t use them, there was snorkeling gear as well. When we go back to Maui we will definitely stay here again!
Tip for parents traveling with kids: have an insta cart order delivered and dropped at your door if you’re arriving late.
The condo was just right for our family and you can’t beat watching the sun set from the hot tub! We were worried about not having a/c, but it wasn’t an issue at all.

My husband and I stayed here during a one week vacation for a friends wedding. The condo was very clean and had everything that we needed that we could not bring with us. The view from the patio was beautiful and we spent most mornings and evenings before and after our excursions relaxing to the ocean waves (and even got to see whales and turtles!). The neighbors and other visitors were very friendly and gave us tips on places to visit and restaurants to eat at. We definetly recommend, and hope to visit again and bring our children with - they would love the pool and hot tub.
