Can't beat the location. Awesome location. Walking distance to restaurants. Well appointed room. Binoculars were a bonus and we used them! Loved the floor to ceiling windows with the two chairs that rotated so we could face the surf or we could face the living room to converse with others or watch TV.Many mornings spent reading on the lanai with a cup of coffee while we waited for the sun to rise.Beach chairs, beach towels, sand bucket and toys for children and a nice chest were there for us if needed.We appreciated that the kitchen had salt and pepper spices and a little olive oil for cooking.
Very comfortable & clean, good location, only place that sits right on ocean.Whalers Village restaurnts - about a 5 minute drive, about 700 ft to Dukes. Suggest addi ng some wine glasses, only one there so I dont have anything to complain about. Would recommend if you want away from crowds & practically your own pool!
Location was superb! The view and ocean sounds were amazing. You can't help but take in the amazing views from the living room and bedroom. Unfortunately, there were some communication issues with the management company when I arrived and I contacted another # provided in the listing and was slightly scolded by the management company for contacting the other number - which happened to be the owner. I will note, the owner is VERY kind and responsive so that is why I didn't give lesser stars for communication. Regarding cleanliness, I could not give less than 3 stars. When I arrived, there was a pair of (what appeared to be used/worn underwear) left on the floor in the master bedroom. When I contacted the property manager, I was asked if someone needed to come to the room and dispose of the item. I was offended. Keep in mind, this was the moment I arrived in Maui. I doubt the last thing a guest wants to do is clean up someone's underwear when they enter their paid vacation rental. Nonetheless, someone came and cleaned up the item and the owner was very apologetic about the issue. That said, I believe the property management company should take some advice from the owner on how to manage these types of issues. I think it could have been handled with a lot more understanding and cooperation. Other than that, the stay went well. Unit was stocked with beach/pool items for my stay and it was beautifully decorated.

The view from the unit was absolutely amazing! What a beautiful ocean view! We loved having the sliders open allowing the ocean breeze to flow thru even keeping them open at night to listen to the crashing waves. The unit was spotlessly clean and well stocked with all the kitchen utensils, dishes and pans you may need for a longer stay. We appreciated the beach chairs that were available for our use and the ability to do laundry right in the unit. The one and only downside was that the microwave wasn’t working but with some ingenuity on our part we managed to work around that.
All in all a great place to stay and we would definitely book this unit again in the future!

This is one of our favorite condos that we have ever stayed in. You seriously feel like you’re on a cruise ship watching the waves roll in outside your huge windows!
Beautiful unit. They have beach chairs and umbrellas and towels to use on the beach. Dukes is a short walk to the resort next door.
Management was on point will any of our needs.

Mahatma 718 was equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay in Maui. The furnishings and amenities met our expectations. The views from this unit were incredible! We really enjoyed spending time in the lanai in the mornings and evenings, because of the views. The only drawback was that there was no A/C during our stay, but were made aware of this issue when we made our reservation. We would definitely return to this location and this unit once the A/C service is up and running.
Love Mahana but room 718 should not be rented. AC was being repaired & we did not read the fine print. There’s were portable AC units that blew hot air to the lanai & never lowered the themp below 83. 88 when we arrived.
Slider to outside could not be locked & tubes from AC were a tripping hazard. Not safe! Moved to nw location at a higher rate No refund to us!!!

From the moment we entered the unit we knew that we had chosen the perfect place for our stay in Maui. The condo was in perfect condition, exactly as pictured and described. And the location was amazing! Walk out the condo right to the beach, with great snorkeling right there. The sun set directly in front of our Lanai every evening, a spectacular vision. All you need for the beach is provided - chairs, umbrellas, cooler, water jugs, even beach toys if you have kids - we couldn't have asked for more. And the management company was very communicative - making sure we were able to get into the unit okay, checking in during our stay and reminding us of the check-out procedures. Supermarket, Snorkel Bobs, a few restaurants and a huge food truck set-up are all right across the street, all within walking distance. We never used the pool, but it was a nice area as well with chairs, loungers, tables with umbrella's, etc. We highly recommend this rental unit and will choose it again the next time we are able to return to Maui.

From the minute you open the front door you will be excited you picked this condo! The ocean view, sunrise and sunsets are amazing. Especially when you see the whales showing off right before your eyes! Very clean with comfortable furniture and bed.

Fantastic trip to Maui in this beautiful property! Whales were right in front breaching all day long. Turtles were swimming right down below our balcony. Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Location was very central to activities, restaurants and walking paths. Food trucks very close too which was a nice break from a restaurant. Snorkeling right outside our place was incredible!! The view from this property was so amazing. We loved it and will be back!!!

Mahana 718 is a beautiful condo that is oceanfront and high enough to view whales, turtles and in our case a Hawaiian monk seal. We had 2 small problems. The check in process was confusing. We were not familiar with the property. There are multiple towers on the property and no one attends any of the desks in the lobby of the property. The a/c in the condo is loud and runs most of the time. Other than these 2 problems, the condo was wonderful and we would stay again.

The unit was great, was just how it was pictured. We saw turtles from our balcony! They have beach chairs, towels, cooler and umbrella to use while you’re there. Loved the restaurants around the unit, Duke’s was a favorite and L&L Hawaiian BBQ. Near great beaches, we had a great time and would love to stay again.
When I go back to Maui, I will absolutely stay in this unit again! From the basic location-location-location to the subtle details (7th floor and this particular location in relation to the palm trees) is perfection. It's beautifully appointed, right down to the fact that they included water jugs and sunscreens for outings!
The lanai is perfectly situated - any lower and we would have heard the waves a bit too much (maybe)...any higher and we wouldn't have had such a fantabulous view of the SEA TURTLES that were constantly showing off below our room. A bit to the right and a gorgeous palm tree may have been in our way - a bit to the left, and - well, it was perfectly situated!
The beach in front of the unit is an amazing place to snorkel! There was NO ONE on our beach or in the water where we were (except us) ~ the snorkeling was just as good as some of the bays we visited, including Honoloa, which is supposed to be among the best.
We LOVED the L&L Hawaiian restaurant across the street as well as the amazing food trucks adjacent to the property. Everything we needed, including a grocery store, snorkel gear, food... was within easy walking distance. Overall, the resort is in a great location - just north of Lahaina, but out of the way of the crowded resorts like Sheraton (still within walking distance of Black Rock, albeit a bit of a jaunt).
The team was responsive when we had questions before we arrived. We give it an EASY 100% perfect rating!
Overall a great stay! Loved being right next to the ocean. Kept the glass door open all night to sleep to the sound of the waves. Clean updated condo with prompt communication from the host.

This condo was an incredible place to stay! The views from the lanai and the living area window were to die for. The air conditioning worked well, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. Everything was clean, updated, and very well organized. Bed was very comfortable. The location was amazing, within walking distance of multiple beaches, 7 min drive to Whalers Village. We saw sea turtles every single day at the beach directly below the condo. Some very minor construction noise noted in the surrounding condos but nothing horrible. Would highly recommend this place!

We had booked this rental for 5 nights and were blown away as soon as we got there. The view was incredible and breathtaking. The unit was extremely clean and had everything you could possibly need and more. The location was excellent and the pool and beach access were excellent. Our stay here was outstanding! The view cannot be beat. It feels like you are out on the water. The unit had everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. We especially like the backpack cooler since we were traveling with kids and needed to be as hands free as possible. We would not hesitate to stay here again! Our only recommendation is that they should replace the lanai chairs. They were rusting and stained some of our clothing just from sitting in them and hanging things to dry on them.
