Our stay was good. There were a few issues such as no propane for the stove or dryer and the batteries needed to be replaced in the smoke detector. We contacted the management and they had some delivered. The couch needs to be upgraded. Very uncomfortable. The listing did not mention that there were chairs, umbrellas, coolers or other beach items available. We rented some because we didn’t know. And finally the air conditioning was only in the bedroom, not the whole unit. It was uncomfortable to sit in the living area. It was a very nice place and we had a great time on Kauai.
Great stay in a quiet neighborhood
The house was perfect for two people and the check-in and check-out instructions were very clear.
Great place, convenient to everything in Poipu including beaches, restaurants and morning coffee. We'd definitely stay again!
Extremely disappointed in the property. Maybe ok in the winter but uncomfortably hot in the summer. Bought a thermometer and it averaged 81 degrees in the home. The only room that had ac was the bedroom. My hard candy became sticky from the heat and humidity. Had to leave by 9 am since the sun was beaming thru the sliders by then. The add states 19 minute walk to baby beach but owner said it would not be safe to do so as poipu road is dangerous to cross. As soon as you open the door you are greeted by a nasty odor wondering if it is from lack of ac and the humidity. Add states coffee maker but fails to state that it is a keurig and I was unable to use my ground coffee. They have the ice maker turned off thus unable to use. The oven would not turn on but the burners worked. Add states hot tub??? Never saw one.. Extremely uncomfortable furniture including the couch, living room chairs, outside chairs . Did not provide for an inviting environment as I could not wait to run out the door in the am and only reluctantly returned to sleep there. Full disclosure the owner did offer a full refund as I complained when we arrived but due to it being high season alternative accommodations were already booked. We attempted to make the best out of a bad situation. Do not recommend
Neighborhood was extremely quiet(something I am not used to). Poi pu beach estates. Walking distance to beach, restaurant.
We rented a car and navigation of the area was simple. Close to many restaurants, store and shops.
We would visit this area again.
This house is a gem. It's located on a quiet estate with other holiday houses close to Poipu Beach. Apart from the occasional rooster (which you can't escape anywhere on Kauai anyway), it was very silent and peaceful, which we really appreciated. It was clean, comes with a huge kitchen stocked with basically everything you may need to cook yourself should you want to. We especially appreciated the large bed and walk in closetspace
This property is located in a residential area walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops. Quiet location with sunset views every day. Parking right below.
Why would anyone want to rent a condo instead of this property. Thanks Paula!!

An excellent location with all amenities such as washer dryer AC dishwasher coffee makers etc. very quiet and calm neighborhood. Definitely 5 stars and would reserve again if I plan to visit Kaua’i again.
This was our second stay at this particular property, we enjoyed our stay both times. The spot is great, in a quite neighborhood a short drive to the beach.
The nearby Poipu beach is beautiful, although it was quite a bit busier then before, perhaps due to the time of year or just because everyone knows how beautiful it is.

The guest house was a clean, peaceful, and relaxing place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. It was well equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals. It was also just a short distance to many nearby restaurants and convenient for being able to drive to either end of the island. Paula was easy to communicate with and had helpful recommendations. We are so glad we chose to stay here!
Paula’s suite is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having our meals on the small lanai and watching the distant sunset and stars at night. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Nice quiet neighborhood but still close to the beach and amenities. Paula was great at communicating and helpful.
We loved the location of this cozy and spacious one bedroom with all the bells and whistles. It was 5 minutes from Poipu beach, in a quiet (except for the roosters!) residential neighborhood. Most of all we appreciated the communication with Paula, who offered much helpful information, and when the washing machine didn't work, gave us alternatives and even compensated us for the inconvenience. It was also great to have beach towels, chairs, and umbrella since we were at one beach or another often. Would give 6 stars if we could, and highly recommend. We'll be back!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Paula, our host, communicated helpful tips with us prior to our arrival and responded quickly to all our inquires prior to and during our stay. Super clean. Well stocked. Close to shops and beach. I loved staying here. Owner was very communicative. The house has everything you need in a quiet neighborhood close to Poipu beach. The beach is glorious: green turtles, monk seals, great snorkeling.
