Property is as advertised. Would stay here again!
Unit was clean and decorated nicely. View from balcony was great!
Beautiful place. Love the decor. Very comfortable.
Wonderful view. The Best!
Great stay, the condo had everything we needed and great location and view!!!
Great condo. Lots of amenities and nice pool/jacuzzi
This was a great place to stay. You can whale watch from the patio. Very relaxing!
Property was very nice! Good ‘beach’ equipment - chairs, umbrella, kid toys, and coolers.
Good location with view of the water - great sunsets
Love our stay here. The condo was very well appointed with everything we needed. Nicely updated and comfortable with great communication throughout our stay here. Definitely recommend staying here.
Nice property, our unit was on the shoreline, heard the waves every day and night. Unit was stocked with everything needed for a fun Hawaiian stay!
I want to emphasize that this was a beautiful unit, right on the water. However, there are 2 reasons I would not stay here again. The balconies are not private. You can see and hear the other neighbors. The second issue was the AC unit in the bedroom. The unit does not have central air. It has a portable unit in the bedroom that is set on a 4 hour timer. This means that every 4 hours, it shuts off and you must wake up to turn it back on. It is hardwired to the outlet with the timer, so you can't remove it from the timer. The timing mechanism also makes a "ticking" sound all night long. In short, we did not have a single night of solid sleep for our entire stay and seriously considered moving to a different rental. This is something the owners need to address and resolve. It is not reasonable to expect guests' sleep to be continuously disrupted.
Location and view makes this vacation home very special.
The pictures really do not do this property justice. The price was beyond worth what you get. I read reviews about not having laundry detergent or this and that but this place had it all! Sunscreen, bug spray, aloe for your sunburn, pool towels, basic condiments, and drinks. It truly felt like we lived there, rather than the hotel vibe. Our first day I was a little irritated that it only had the low-level AC in the bedroom, but after my body got used to the Hawaiian temps it was no longer an issue and worked perfectly for sleep, it runs on a timer and would shut off in the middle of the night, I think once I got up to turn it back on otherwise the room stayed cool with the ceiling fan over the bed. The view of the ocean is incredible; you can't see the sunrise from this condo, but the sunset is breathtaking. There is also a very nice, clean pool and hot tub and a little grass area with cute lights, picnic tables, and grills! I HIGHLY recommend staying here, I know we will be back.
Very musty smell, due to no air conditioning in main living area.tradewinds helped but not much.
This was potentially a challenging trip for us to Hawaii because we traveled with our four year old grandson. The condo was perfect with plenty of space for the three of us. Kitchen was well stocked. The fold out bed for our grandson was perfect. Lots of gear for the beach was available for snorkeling, chairs, beach toys….The bed was comfortable. The tiled floors with fish and turtles brightened up the rooms. The lanai was nice with the ocean only yards away. We enjoyed the sound of the waves….The view across the bay to town was very nice.
Location was great. Just slightly out of town and away from the busyness. We could hear neighbors but all was quiet during quiet hours.
We would go back! Mahalok
Great location and great accommodations on the Big Island
Wonderful location; slept three comfortably, pool awesome, BBQ area great, kitchen well stocked.
My wife and I stayed in this beautiful unit for six days in early February. The views are exactly as shown in the photos and are stunning. The walk to Huggo’s is just under a mile. They don’t take reservations and the food is great. It’s worth it to wait for a table at the railing. If you’re going for dinner bring a flashlight to be seen in the dark as you walk back.Island LavaJava is also close and is great for breakfast and lunch. For a fabulous dinner try Jackie Rey’s Ohana Grill Kona which is just a couple of miles away.
Sea Village is very quiet and has plenty of parking spots. Sitting on the deck with our breakfast or in the evening with our wine we watched whales, snorkelers, paddle boarders, and paragliders.
You MUST visit the National Park at Pu’ukohola Heiau to see the excellent video depicting how Kamehameha the Great took over all the islands and then take the 45 minute tour inside Hulihe’e Palace right in Kona to learn even more fascinating history.
We definitely plan to return to this unit in Sea Village.
Sea Village is a fantastic spot to stay! Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Very clean, well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we come to the Big Island! Great communication with host also!
