Cute place, very continently located. Had everything that you needed for a great trip! Absolutely no complaints. Host was very responsive to any questions regarding instructions or check in. Beautiful view of the beach by the pool! And would recommend Huggos resturant, a hop, skip, and jump from this place. Food here was amazing!
AC was a godsend as it was very hot the few days we stayed. Towels were clean but smelled musty, as did the comforter. There was no soap or shampoo available; not a big deal but the material in the binder indicated they were included. (I don’t want the host to think I took what was there.) I was hoping for a walkable beachfront, but the description wasn’t misleading. I just didn’t think it would be a beach of large rocks. Glad we made it to Kona and had a place, even if the neighborhood wasn’t walkable (no sidewalks, heavy traffic, not near shops).
Great location for 2 nights. Quiet complex with a reserved parking space. Lots of beach gear available to use on a pretty decent sized patio balcony. AC and fan worked well. Hosts were proactively communicative. We were hoping for basic bathroom amenities (shampoo and body soap) but couldn't find any even after asking host. Information in binder may need some updating. Otherwise, a location close to the airport, restaurants, coffee farms, and snorkeling!
We were on the go constantly but the place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but the view from the pool was amazing.
We loved our time here. Complex was peaceful and a perfect place to retreat to after our island explorations. Especially enjoyed early mornings on the lanai drinking coffee before the sun rose over the volcano. Would absolutely recommend. And definitely would stay again.
Amazing location nice and quiet / pool area along the coast was amazing for morning coffee and only a short walk to town where you can burn off some calories from amazing food Kona offers. We enjoyed the studio. Was a graat location for us. Had everything we needed.It was nice and quiet. A little hard to find in the dark, but lived having a saved parking spot.Would definitely stay again if on the island.

Kim and Lake's Kona Condo is a conveniently located in Kona and has all the amenities one can ask for in a trip. They also have great suggestions about local places and restaurants to visit. The condo is fantastically maintained and extremely cute.

Great close proximity to kailua kona. Only downer is the curtains, in my lowly opinion they should be darker, but overall worth every penny for coziness, close proximity to downtown and night life, & checkin/checkout
When searching for a place to stay this studio condo was located close to restaurants and shopping, and was comparatively a good value. It is an older property, but well stocked with beach/snorkeling gear. Unless you like to hangout by the pool, it's not an ocean view. Close to Ali'i Drive, so it can be noisy at times. The owner's are very good at communicating during the booking process and answering any questions that we had.
We had a lovely stay. Convenient location, short walk to the pool with a gorgeous view. Kitchen had everything we needed. We couldn’t see any place that seemed safe to snorkel as the waves were high and it’s rocky in front, but there are a couple of great places nearby. Our visit to the Big Island was filled with adventure and relaxation. The condo was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the fresh island breezes flowing through the condo at night. Having a designated parking spot was an added plus. We would definitely sty here again.
We had a wonderful stay. The unit had everything we needed. It was super clean! Kudos to the cleaners. The parking was spacious and conveniently next to the unit. Laundry was easy and noted on the check-in map. Bring your own quarters. Check out the sunsets by the pool area. Location is great and close in town. Condo was as advertised— simple and clean.Sleeping was a problem for three nights because a neighboring air conditioner was annoyingly loud, possibly due to defective bearings in its fan. We really enjoyed the pool by the ocean, as surf was high for snorkeling during our stay.

The property had everything we needed. It was quiet and was in a convenient location. Kim and Lake were timely in their communication with us and were very gracious enough to mail me an item i accidentally left in the unit.

Stayed at Kim & Lake's place for three days in October 2024. They provided us with all the information and were responsive to all our questions. One bonus: the property is across the street from a bike share station which made for easy transport into town. Would definitely stay again!

I flew to Kona to do some diving for a few days, this was a great place to stay, near shopping and easy to get to. Everything was as described and the owners were very responsive.
Very clean complex. Close enough to shopping, restaurants, and activities but far enough to be away from the rest of the tourists and resorts. Sunsets at the pool and shore are fantastic.
We would definitely stay here again. It’s was clean, well stocked, great location, and easy access. We are on the go people and it was perfect for this. Quiet complex as well. Price was fair and hosts were great!

This rental was perfectly located to explore Kona - a very short drive to the touristy area and other amenities, short walk to a beach park, short drive to a much larger beach park, and not much further to the road heading to the south end of the island.
