Welcome to our condo in Hawaii, we like to give everyone a well deserved and affordable vacation. This is a very private and newly renovated, top floor corner unit centrally located in Kailua-Kona, Big Island Hawaii. 350 days of sunny weather in a year with some of the best beaches in the world, all within a short distance.
Our condo complex Kona Shores is located just outside the busy part of Alii Dr. within 1 mile walking distance to the town centre and farmer's market. There is a ocean side pool with beautiful sunset and possible whale, dolphin sightings. Experienced snorkeler can also snorkel right at the shoreline of the condo, I always see lots interesting fish there. The common BBQ area is above the pool, the regular returning guest and longer term residents always hang out there socialize and watching the ocean.
Our condo offers a private and relaxing setting at top corner with cozy home feel, full kitchen, bath, queen size bed, WiFi and designated parking space. A great place to come back to after exploring what some of the amazing and diverse places the Big Island has for you to experience.
Description: Kitchen is all newly renovated with granite countertops, new cabinets and matching vanity set in a large bathroom with a waterfall faucet. Fully furnished top corner unit with a very private and tranquil setting. There is a Queen sized bed with Nova Gel Memory Foam mattress, additional leather sofa bed, 32 inch Samsung TV, DVD Player, cookware, rice cooker, coffee maker, kettle, dinner ware and cutleries for you to use. There are lots of novels, guide books, body board, and snorkeling gear left from previous guests. High speed internet is available. Coin operated laundry facility in complex. No Smoking and no pet allowed.

When searching for a place to stay this studio condo was located close to restaurants and shopping, and was comparatively a good value. It is an older property, but well stocked with beach/snorkeling gear. Unless you like to hangout by the pool, it's not an ocean view. Close to Ali'i Drive, so it can be noisy at times. The owner's are very good at communicating during the booking process and answering any questions that we had.

We had a lovely stay. Convenient location, short walk to the pool with a gorgeous view. Kitchen had everything we needed. We couldn’t see any place that seemed safe to snorkel as the waves were high and it’s rocky in front, but there are a couple of great places nearby. Thank you Kim and Lake for sharing your space with us!

Our visit to the Big Island was filled with adventure and relaxation. The condo was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the fresh island breezes flowing through the condo at night. Having a designated parking spot was an added plus. We would definitely sty here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit had everything we needed. It was super clean! Kudos to the cleaners. The parking was spacious and conveniently next to the unit. Laundry was easy and noted on the check-in map. Bring your own quarters. Check out the sunsets by the pool area. Location is great and close in town. We highly recommend this unit for your stay in Kona. Mahalo.

Condo was as advertised— simple and clean.Sleeping was a problem for three nights because a neighboring air conditioner was annoyingly loud, possibly due to defective bearings in its fan. We really enjoyed the pool by the ocean, as surf was high for snorkeling during our stay.

Stayed at Kim & Lake's place for three days in October 2024. They provided us with all the information and were responsive to all our questions. One bonus: the property is across the street from a bike share station which made for easy transport into town. Would definitely stay again!

I flew to Kona to do some diving for a few days, this was a great place to stay, near shopping and easy to get to. Everything was as described and the owners were very responsive.

Very clean complex. Close enough to shopping, restaurants, and activities but far enough to be away from the rest of the tourists and resorts. Sunsets at the pool and shore are fantastic.

We would definitely stay here again. It’s was clean, well stocked, great location, and easy access. We are on the go people and it was perfect for this. Quiet complex as well. Price was fair and hosts were great!
