Easy check-in, private place, quiet, loved the view from the deck and the mini deck. Close to restaurants, a Walmart. Beds were comfortable, a/c units worked well, purified water available in kitchen added bonus. We loved our private stay
We had an wonderful stay. Communication was quick and easy. Definitely time to replace the AC as others mentioned in the bedroom. I always have white noise in the bedroom but this was pretty loud as it shut off and on. Otherwise everything else was perfect for what we wanted for our trip.
Can't wait to come back. Exceptional sunsets almost every evening. The only way you could be closer to the ocean would have been to be in it. The waves broke against the seawall to rock you asleep every night. You could see the whales on a couple days from the lanai and watch the body surfers in the mornings. The master bedroom looked out over the bay providing picture perfect views. Close enough to the shops and restaurants to walk.

It was the perfect beach house. Authentic Hawaiian decor and gorgeous views. We loved it. The view from the primary bedroom was picture perfect.
Staying in this house made an amazing trip to Hawaii that much better. Incredible privacy and having an ocean front property gave us beautiful unobstructed sunsets and views of the ocean (we saw whales and dolphins during our stay) and incredible ocean breezes into the house which has so many windows for fresh air and views of the ocean from basically every room. Very convenient location close to Kona and we used this location as our launching pad to Volcanoes National Park and other beautiful spots around the island. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay when we had questions. When we travel we almost always rent homes and this is easily one of the best home we've stayed in. We would stay again and highly recommend.
The views from this property are even better than advertised, as good as it gets. Very comfortable home, responsive host, and perfect location to get to town or attractions. Amazing property and stay.
Perfect home base for travel around the Big Island! The house was clean and comfortable. Only suggestion I would have is a new A/C unit for the bedroom, that one is outdated and loud. And motion sensor lights by the back door/parking area. But overall loved our experience and would definitely rent again!
We selected this house because it was very "Hawaiian" style, in a great location within walking distance from Kailua Kona downtown, and it's on the water with amazing sunset views. It didn't disappoint! The house has everything we needed for a week's stay. And... the kitchen was amazingly equipped.
Comfortable house with large windows providing impressive ocean views. The AC units kept the house cool and comfortable even on warmer humid days. In addition to the large deck there is a smaller stone platform across the lawn that is attached to the seawall. It has even better views of the rocky shoreline where you can watch the surf crash on the rocks. The house is also a convenient walking distance to several beaches, restaurants, and shops in town. The carport was an added bonus that let us keep dry when returning from driving excursions on rainy days.
This was the perfect space to call home during our first stay in Kona. It is so close to amazing beaches, shopping, groceries, restaurants, and more. Many days we chose to cook or get take out and enjoy the gorgeous view from the deck. We loved the grassy yard and shade trees. It felt very private even with neighboring homes close by. The bed and furniture were extremely comfortable. We loved having the windows open at night to catch a cool breeze and listen to the waves for a great nights sleep. We would love to come back to this location again in the future!
