The property is gorgeous and the condo is perfect if you want a simple place to lay your head down at night. Close drive to pretty much everything you could want or need. The pools and beach on property are a nice convenience if the waters are rough. I enjoyed sitting out on the patio while reading or just watching the birds and lizards. It was really convenient being able to walk out the backdoor straight to the pools and/or beach. Having a door code rather than keeping track of a room key was a huge positive. Parking is not guaranteed right outside your room and you could have to park outside the gate if the lot is full. The kitchen had all the dishes we needed to make small meals. There were beach chairs and other small beach items in the hall closet we used when we went to Magic Sands. The condo was clean and updated.
Very comfortable condo! We enjoyed our stay here. It was stocked with everything you could need. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
We had a lovely time, the beach was beautiful and the location was great. The room was clean and comfortable.
Bottom line: I would use Kona Vacations again. I would definitely stay in the complex again. I would want a better maintained & furnished unit. Great: overall complex, property manager Kelli, comfortable bed, lower level location, concierge David is excellent, laundry room is steps away. Owners & renters blend well- lots of friendly people. Grills are top notch. Parking is adequate. Not so great: unit is tired & needs repairs/updating. Several nicks in tile floor. Cupboard doors hang crooked, only 2 of 4 chairs on lanai have cushions. Towels are old, raggedy, scratchy& chemical smell. Beach towels are tiny dollar store type. Poorly furnished in the kitchen. Mismatched garage sale type stuff.
We killed cockroaches every day of our stay. We finally left a day early as we killed 7 in our bathroom and bedroom. Properly management didn’t seem too concerned. “We are in the tropics”..Very disappointed. We’ve seen roaches before in the tropics, but never this many is a rented condo. Crawling on the bathroom counter, floor and bedroom area.
This is a well used but slightly unloved unit that needs some TLC. Bed is comfortable, good WiFi and tv, hot water takes a while but shower is ok.
This unit should probably have someone come in and reevaluate the utensils, a real mish mash, I counted 24 kitchen knives, a very mixed inventory of mismatched silverware, glasses and mugs. No corkscrew, cereal bowls etc. Microwave needs attention and there are a lot of old broken appliances in the cupboards.
The things that work for this unit, it’s in a well managed quiet resort. Has two lovely pools and a sandy beach. WiFi and tv options were great.
The management company who oversee the unit were attentive and dealt with the three issues we had competently and quickly, very appreciated.
On arrival location was amazing, really easy using the kana lock as access . Property was spacious clean and so comfortable. Great cooking facilities, very nice bathroom and bedroom, going out on to the patio your greatted with a beautiful garden and 2 lovely pools
Wonderful place to wake up and central location!
The stay here was very easy and clean. Great gated area with a private beach and pool. My wife and I came to Kona on a scuba diving vacation and loved the area. I would happily stay again!
We were delighted with our stay at this rental. Location was prime. The size of the condo was exactly what we needed. Having both a chlorine pool and a salt water pool right on the ocean was epic. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
Our condo was very nice! It had everything you could possibly need. The property is in a great location and the grounds are beautiful. Will be making a return trip!!!
