Clean, well decorated, good location, friendly hosts
Everything it advertised and more. Well supplied. Nice hosts! Very accommodating. We’d come back if coming to the island!!!!

The house was very clean with comfortable beds. We so appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler for our use! It was nice to have a stocked kitchen, and the backyard patio was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!!
Gary and Sheri are wonderful hosts, and this home is an amazing place to stay when exploring the Big Island or just relaxing in Kailua-Kona!
The home is clean, comfortable, and ideally located. It includes necessities such as the bedrooms, a wonderful living room, and fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer, and everything you need for a day at the beach- beach loungers, umbrellas, breach towels, and even a pail and shovel to make sand castles! The home has several gorgeous beaches nearby within 10 minutes drive.
If you like exploring, you can get to any part of the Big Island within two hours, and half of the island within one.
The only downside is that the home is located on a commonly-used road that regularly has traffic, but we didn't find it a problem.

Pluses included host communication, plentiful supplies, back patio, large TV, fast wifi, convenient location. Less than ideal features included: unaware we would have neighbors in adjoining apartment, parking, road noise, and well used dishes and utensils.
This house is extremely well eqipped and comfortable. There is lots of beach gear: chairs, brollies, snorkelling gear, boogie boards, life jackets in different sizes. Lots of games, dvds, stuffies, books, toys. Yes, the house is on a main road but most of the time there is room to turn around in the driveway. I live in a large city and didn't find the traffic noise bothersome. To me, it's ordinary background noise. There is a very good washer and dryer that the hosts do not
charge extra for. There is an outdoor hose you can use to rinse rinse off sand from the beach. The only thing that would be nicer is if it were an actual shower so one could strip right down and completely shower outsideside charge extra for.
Really like the hosts! Loved the house itself. Close to most things, which was great.
We enjoyed the location of this home, its close to everything. It was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Sheri was very good, we had no problems. As other reviews state, it is on a busy road but parking was good and the lot allows you to turn around so you dont have to back onto the road. Road noise was minimal, didnt bother us at all. The owners are really good at communication. The property is clean and comfortable enough for short vacation. Although it needs some updates, maybe adding a dishwasher should be helpful. It is located on a busy road, people drive very fast on the road. My room is on the roadside, and I was wake up by road noise early in the morning. There are four parking spots, two are under cover and two are not covered. Both owner and the tenants at back occupy one of the undercover spots, the tenants also occupy one of the none covered spot. We had one car and was able to park on the fourth spot. If you have a large group and with more than one car, you will have trouble to park it on the property.
We love the property super comfortable. We especially love the fact that they had everything we needed on the property for a wonderful stay to include chairs and snorkeling gear. It was wonderful.
Everything you could want for beach days, comfortable beds, and wonderful communication with owner. Road noise can be loud at times for sensitive sleepers but the frogs singing make up for it.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Kitchen is well outfitted and lots of thoughtful items for our use. Loved spending time on the lanai. Great for our stay on the Big Island. Very accomodating hosts!
This little home has everything you need - and then some! It's a comfortable base from which to explore the entire Island. There is ample room to relax and plenty of amenities, from a well-stocked kitchen to a covered lanai to all kinds of beach necessities. The owner/host was always congenial and responsive. The only drawbacks were the busy road nearby and the distance from downtown Kona, but the pluses of this property far outweighed these minor inconveniences. We would highly recommend this location!
This was our 1st trip to Hawaii, this house and all of the amenities made it feel like home away from home. It has everything you need and a great location.

It was wonderful to have a house to come home to at the end of the day and just relax outside playing games in the evening. We had the use of a washer, dryer, and full kitchen. Was charged $100.00 for the use of air conditioning, but never needed to turn the air conditioner on. It would be nice to have this as an option.
