Magic Sand Beach Condo Kona

Really enjoyed the stay, and kid's loved the pool and beach.

This condo is in a great location as it is within walking distance to the town and right across the street from one of the most popular beaches in Kona. However, the property is pretty old and the bars on the front screen door weren't very welcoming. While the condo itself has been redone and updated somewhat, the building itself is pretty old which didn't help.

The location is right across the street from one of the main beaches, just be aware if traveling with small children or elderly, the road can get quite busy and it is hard to see especially at night.

The owner was great about responding promptly if we had questions and helped me in getting into the condo earlier than check in so I could surprise family with a gift basket upon their arrival.

The front door is activated with a keypad. You are given the code before/upon arrival and can program your own code into the door after first entrance. I am not sure if there is an elevator? We had to climb up two flights of stairs every time to get in.

Great place to stay. Nice walking distance to the beach. Clean facilities and plenty of space for everyone.

This was a practical condo in a great location. We were 2 adults looking for 2 master bedrooms with separate baths, so perfect for us. Kitchen and rest of condo were well-equipped. Parking in this area is tight, so good that it came with 2 parking spots. Great beaches and restaurants across the street. Main Kona area is close by.
