I liked that the house was well stocked with shampoo & soaps in the bathrooms. In the kitchen it too was well stocked with condiments, that you didn’t have to go add shopping for, plastic wrap, foil, coffee pretty much everything you need withouthaving to go to the store.Easy to walk to beach the pool was tiny but it was good enough to get in, get wet, and cool off. Large eating areas for a big group, like our team members. We were a group of 12. We would probably stay again. It was the no air conditioning that got to me but there were ceiling & floor fans in every room which really helped.

With 5 bedrooms, everyone was comfortable and had not only a bed, but each bedroom has its own bathroom.The house is a two level in kind of a U shape. There is a huge table that fit everyone when we came together for dinner. Some enjoyed lounging by the pool, which was refreshing. The grill out there was heavily used for cooking our meals.The location is perfect. Less than a 15 minute drive to groceries, restaurants,… esp. in Kona. (*Park at St. Michaels church for free)It’s a simple 5 minute walk north to Magic Sands Beach - with facilities, nice sand, and rocks that are perfect for sunset watching.If you walk about 15-20 minutes south, you reach a rocky park that has terrific snorkeling.The house does not have AC, but keeping the shutters and interior doors open (keep outside doors closed to keep bugs out) was perfect. It was warm going to bed, but rooms all have ceiling fans and an extra room fan to cool things down till the temps drop during the night.The kitchen is very well stocked with a great pantry. There’s also a cooler and a cooler water jug.The house had plenty of regular towels, dish soap, paper towels, napkins, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, beach towels. There’s a ton of games and Big Island guide books. Plenty of plates, silverware, etc.. for everyone.I can’t imagine a better place to stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Screened lanai with large table was great, well stocked kitchen, manager very responsive. We recommend this property for family and friends. Great location for access to all the Island activities and services.Beds were fair; living room couch is uncomfortable to sit on, toilets too low for seniors or need grab bars.

The owner was super easy to work with and always quick to get back to me. The house was perfect for our family group of 10 with space enough to spread out and not feel like you're on top of each other. We loved that we could walk to a nice, sandy beach. We loved the beach gear that they had, the grill, and the baby equipment. It all made our stay that much more convenient.

Annual family vacation to the Islands and this was by far the best property we’ve stayed at. Entire experience was very good. We had a group of 10 (8 adults and 2kids). The pool was used extensively.

We had a great experience! Everything was as we expected, and communication was great throughout our stay. It was just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We even took a short walk to see the marathon running portion of the Ironman World Championships. The house was clean and perfect for everything we needed.

This home is Beautiful and fit our family of 12 perfectly. Each family had a room with own bathroom, which was amazing. The house had sand toys and multiple sizes and pairs of water socks. Highly recommend staying at this location. Communication was addressed promptly! :)

This house is fantastic. We were two families (four adults, two 4 year olds, and a toddler). The kids loved the layout and the pool in the back was such a hit (we used it every afternoon). It really was a place they could 'explore' but well thought out screens and doors allow you to wall off areas (like the pool) to keep everyone safe.
The kitchen was very well equipped, beyond what I am used to for most rental properties. It made making meals a pleasure, rather than a chore.
Next time we are in Kona we will book this place again.

We got together in the living room/kitchen, and we can each retreat to our rooms whenever we wanted privacy. It was like a little hotel with 5 rooms. Each room had a lanai with tables and chairs. It was very cozy. We enjoyed the lanai area for dining because it was screened in to keep insects out. There was enough room for all of us to sit together for a meal. The house was walking distance to the beach, and we appreciated the use of beach equipment in the garage. The little ones used sand toys and there were plenty of beach chairs, even water shoes of all sizes.
We also appreciated how the host responded immediately to our needs. The house was located a few minutes from a shopping center that had a large selection of local foods. We didn't discover this right away, so we mostly drove north to Kailua for our meals and groceries. We were too busy so we didn't use the pool. Thank you for a great time. I would rent the house again if we come back.
