Great location great view and stocked with everything we needed.
Could not have asked for a better place to call home for our week on the Big Island! Easy check in, good amenities (never used the pool/hot tub-too busy playing in the ocean and out exploring), loads of parking available, and quick responses from Vacasa. Fully stocked rental with everything you need. Loved sitting on the lanai with coffee every morning watching the waves crashing and enjoying the stunning sunrises. Comfy bed, comfy sofa and recliner, and good water pressure…no complaints! Would return here without hesitation!
We loved the property’s location and view. Everything was as described in the listing. We gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there is an obvious coach roach problem. Due to the number of roaches we saw the issue is not confined to this apartment. There are bait traps but they are inadequate. In our opinion, this unit and several others need to be fumigated. We also gave 4 stars for management services due to the fact I had to call the local property mgmt for a minor issue. I held on line for 30 mins, then gave up.

This is a very nice rental. It so close to the ocean, you can hear the waves as you fall asleep. Kitchen is well supplied. It has great sunsets from the Lanai.
We had a late flight that was also delayed departing. Arriving tired and in need of facilities, it was incredibly frustrating that the electronic door lock was inoperative. After sorting through texts and elmails from Vacasa, we finally got to a human on the line that had a code to a lockbox, apparent standby for this occurrence. The condo was very nice and the view could not have been better.
Beautiful View. Basoc condo. Cold pool and warm, not hot, tub. We were there for two weeks. No lounge on porch. Need to buy some silverware to fill in what was needed.
If you want your own private balcony with a stunning view of the ocean, and a place to enjoy a magical sunset, look no further! You will be able to sleep with the best white noise on the planet! This home has a great bed and a great view! Loved it!
There are always turtles within view of the patio, surfers as well. We also saw a couple whales breaching as we sat on the patio.The condo is great- the kitchen is set up very well, so if you're going to be cooking in a lot it's pretty much all there save for seasonings. The bed was awesome. This unit does not have AC, but with all of the ceiling fans and the large patio doors open there was plenty of airflow. The couch is a bit dated. Wifi is excellent.If you need a (cheap) place within walking distance of downtown Kona this is a great deal.
If you enjoy the ocean, watching some great surfers and big waves this is the spot for you!
Roomy unit, big balcony with excellent ocean view right below, convenient private washer/dryer along with detergent and fabric softener. Very helpful front deck and customer service via phone and texting.
Need updates on appliances and furniture: reclining chair yanks back unexpectedly, stove and oven unit doesn’t work well, no lighting on balcony. Not enough washcloths provided unless you wash them frequently (We stayed for a week.) There were some thoughtful items like books, snorkeling gear and small ice chest. Wish there were scissors and dishwasher detergent provided in the kitchen and facial tissue in the bathroom. There’s plenty dish soap, so we hand washed all dishes throughout the week, but couldn’t comply with their request to start the dishwasher as we checked out. There were plenty of other things supplied. Especially liked the high quality soap, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Generally a very good vacation place, just needs some updates.

The ocean front location as well as the views are amazing and beautiful.
We have only stayed at Kona Bali Kai when we have visited Kona. The location by the ocean is stunning. Right on the beach. Waves all day and night. Sunsets, and watching the surfers, can’t be beat!
Nice condo, convenient location. Town of Kona was up the road, Magic Sands beach down the road. The house great parking, there is a pool and spa. The best part was the patio, it is on the second floor (parking is the first floor), the view of the ocean is GREAT. Word of caution there is no AC but between the ceiling fans and the one one standing fan made it ok.

Beautiful on the water, well appointment condo. Couldn’t be closer to the water! Clean, pretty and comfortable. Can lie in bed and watch the waves!
We loved the location of this condo where everything is an easy drive! The balcony is fantastic and we ended up eating all our breakfasts outside at our own oceanfront table! Great value during the summer!

Great condo not far from town. Nice pool with hot tub, very clean. This unit was truly ocean front with large lanai and access from the bedroom or living area. Pretty quiet laid-back area, nice tide pools out front. Bring your reef shoes!
We would stay at the Kona Bali Kai again.
Wonderful location with the Pacific Ocean just steps off the lanai. Some of the best poke on the island just steps out the front door. Fully equipped apartment has ample fans to keep air moving. The location is a short drive to Kona. Wonderful to listen to the crashing waves, watching sunsets, and seeing surfers every morning. Good experience!
We had a great time! Check in was easy and very informative through email. When checking out, we waited for an hour for a staff member to help us with a problem we had. Other than that, it was a beautiful stay! A great experience , and a beautiful view!
