Spectacular place, prime location. Everything we hoped for.
Great location & easily accessible. The pool area was convenient with plenty of seating. No early morning reservation of lounge chairs like you get at many hotels in HI. Easy walk to Marriott on the private path to get craft coffee and pastries in the morning (or just get free coffee in their club house). A lot of walkability to shops and restaurants. There is a beautiful trail that goes along the ocean from the Hilton to the Marriott. Not to mention the sunset from the bay at the Marriott. Covered parking kept the heat down in August. Well equipped closet with beach gear (though we didn't need it). All around relaxing place and neighborhood. The host was very kind to send me information more than once when I missed messages & I had no issues once I arrived. Only considerations: some people might find the A/C setting too high for their normal temp in the height of summer & yes, it's HI, sometimes you get extra little insect visitors.

We love this Kolea neighborhood for its beauty, beautiful grounds, pool area, and especially its accessibility to shops and the beach! This particular unit was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were high end. What was awesome was the big common grass area the patio opens up to. The kids could run around and chase birds all morning. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
These condos have wonderful access to A Bay, as well as a pool on the premises. It was the perfect setup for our extended family, whose ages ranged from 3 to 74. The owner is very responsive. We loved the availability of plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas and a cooler. There was dishwasher and clothes detergent, etc. so no need to buy these things. The one area for improvement is to have unbreakable plates and glasses, which are required if you want to take food to the pool area. Fortunately for us, the other condo our group rented has these.
Everything about this condo was great. From the location, to the comfort and amenities. Amd the host, Dmitri, was extremely easy to deal with and communicate with. I travel to the island at least once a year and this will be my new go to accommodation.
I think the mattress in the first bedroom needs help. Also, they need to add something in the floor of the tub so u don’slip. Otherwise great stay!
The property is perfectly located, close to all things: shopping, beaches, hotels and great pool and beach area right at the property. Unit has great grass area out front, very comfortable beds and all the comforts of home to relax, beach and cook.
We loved our week here at the condo. Everything was as described.
Best location on the Big Island for weather. Very nice area in general. No ocean view from the condo, but we knew that in advance from the online listing. About 5 minute or so walk to the main beach, walk another 5-10 minutes and you can find yourself a very quiet spot. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn't find ourselves needing anything. A lot of items left by previous guests, so maybe you don't need to buy every grocery item you want at Costco. Even quite a few beers in the fridge on arrival, though we left them all for the next guests. Numerous beach items also in the entry closet if needed. Beach towels too. We would consider staying here again if visiting in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kolea. This complex is clean and the landscaping is beautiful. Condo itself was outstanding. Very spacious for our family of four. The kitchen was well-stocked. We cooked almost every night either in the kitchen or on the outdoor grill. The beach supply closet was amazing...beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, umbrellas, coolers, etc. The neighborhood pool was great, along with the ease of beach access to A-Bay. The owner is very good with communication and easy to reach. This condo really made our stay on the Big Island a huge success. I would definitely recommend this to anyone going to the Big Island, and would stay here again on our next visit.

The condo was cleannand very well stocked, both for kitchen and fun (beach). The master king bed was very comfortable. Loved yhe ground floor location near the marriott. Will stay tgere again!
Ideal location — walking distance to a beautiful private pool, steps away from beach, ocean activities, and shopping. The condo was well equipped, including the kitchen, bathrooms, outdoor patio with full sliding doors, beach supplies. and the entire unit was very clean with comfortable amenities. We truly loved it in every way. Dimitri was a very communicative, informative and responsible host. Highly recommend and hope we will have the opportunity to return!
We loved our stay at this property. The interior was spacious and we really enjoyed the beach club, which also has a gated path down to the beach. Dmitri was a responsive and friendly host, and I would recommend this location to anyone staying in Waikoloa!
This had everything you could imagine. The owner was on top of everything and very responsive. Would rent here again for our next trip.

Did not disappoint... everything as described and more beautiful than I could have imagined! Perfect location ... short walk to pool, beach, shops and restaurants. Condo well equipped - we didn't feel it was missing anything! Can't wait to return.

We loved staying here, it’s close to the beach and the pool and even walking distance to the shops and restaurants. It has everything you need for the beach for adults and kids, from beach chairs and umbrellas to boogie boards and sand toys. The layout was perfect and the complex is super quiet. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re on the big island. Mahalo for a wonderful stay.
My husband, two friends and I spent a week at Hale Hauoli and as the name suggests, we were a happy household. The condo is modern w/ tasteful Hawaiian decor, as advertised, and comfortable. We ate dinners on the lanai, and though there was no direct ocean view, it was very pleasant. The beach club is a four-minute walk away with a pretty pool, nice hot tub and steps from the beach--a decent swimming beach. I saw a good-size, happy sea turtle (honu) my last evening there right around sunset.
The sunset was gorgeous from the Lava Lava club, a 10-minute walk down the beach. The food is good there, too. Get there early (45 minutes to an hour) if you want a table on the beach.
Highly recommend Hapuna Beach up the coast - maybe a 20-minute drive. Take beach chairs. Beautiful white sand beach, nice water, a good snack bar at the Westin Hapuna Resort near the beach.
Dmitri was very responsive to all our queries (we had one issue with a propane tank that wouldn't open, but that didn't spoil our stay). Jackie, the housekeeper, was too. Great hosts.

We stayed over Fall Break and had never been to the Big Island. The location of this property is PERFECT! Easy access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The condo is very well maintained with every amenity available including beach supplies (snorkels, masks, cooler, chairs, towels etc) We highly recommend this property. You won’t be disappointed. The owner is also easily accessible for any questions. Thanks again.

Kolea is an absolute paradise on the Big Island. An enclave of custom condos right on A-Bay with amazing pool views and a short 3-5 min walk til your toes hit the sand.
The condo is well maintained and stocked with kitchen necessities and beach outing essentials— chairs, towels, umbrella, sand toys, etc.
Communication with the property manager was timely and succinct.
