Weekend trip to visit friend and family. And site seeing was a beautiful weekend
Loved the accommodations and closeness to the beach.
Wasn't quite the view, but was a nice place. Would have rather had hardwood, didn't even think to look at that. There were a few issues. They gave us a cooler to use which was beyond broken. The bathtub was very noisy and felt like you were going to fall through the floor. We also did not get the six loads of detergent. There was maybe one. We had to buy our own.
The only positive thing I have to say about KA C19 is the location--close to beach, pool and barbeque. Pleasant garden view. Other than that, there is not much positive to report. The place was dated, dirty and had many broken parts. The patio furniture cushions were in shreds and had to be covered with a beach towel before using. Second bedroom blinds broken and did not cover window. Fan in same bedroom was so covered with dust that we could not use it as when turned on, dust flew about the room. Light switch in same bedroom did not work. Carpet in all rooms was very dirty. Furniture has termite infestation and everyday there was a new pile of termite droppings on the floor. Livingroom fan in very poor condition. Kitchen supplies skimpy (I made a trip to Walmart to purchase supplies missing). Every night cockroaches appeared in kitchen so before lights off for the night, every single thing was placed in refrigerator. No extra linens. In order to change sheets it was necessary to strip beds, wash and dry linens and then replace. Pillows were terrible so made a trip to Costco to purchase 4 new pillows. No icemaker available in small, low end refrigerator.
I stayed here with my family. I will start with the highlights and end with the lowlights. First off, the location is amazing, right across the street from one of the Kamaole Beach Parks in Kihei. You are a walk to restaurants and multiple beaches in this part of Maui. The area is very family friendly and the beaches are great! That said, there are some lowlights. The unit is older and furnishing are dated and some are falling apart. The blinds were broken the day we arrived, but thankfully fixed a few days in. The unit definitely had some bugs in the kitchen and the management company dropped off some spray and wished us good luck...fun times. The rental process is tedious as you are working with a management company that requires all sorts of verification outside the VRBO process. Basically, once you have rented on VRBO, you have to go through a verification process and sign another rental agreement with the management company. I thought this was excessive, but I don't travel to Hawaii often so maybe it is par for the course. Hope this is helpful to future travelers.

Nice amount of space for a family of four, easy walking distance to beaches and shops, overall good experience. Would have liked a few more beach items stocked in the unit like boogie boards or beach umbrella.
I love the privacy of each room, and the neatness of the kitchen and communal area! Overall great stay!
Good. Only steps from the beach and shopping. Only negatives were no air conditioning and starting to look a little worn.
Unit was not clean. Had to communicate more than once on issues. The lanai chaise lounge furniture is very dirty and the furniture pads need to be tossed out. The lanai patio door was dirty and the screens were dirty also. The cleaner did come out and have to clean them. There was a smell in the kitchen we couldn’t find.
The location is ideal. Across the road from Kamaole 2 beach, walking distance to shopping, and central to travel. We've stayed in West Maui before but didn't enjoy the amount of travel to explore other beaches and towns. If you like to explore, Kihei is ideal.
The unit has a garden view lanai with a beautiful view of Haleakala. We didn't miss air conditioning with the main door screen and the cross breeze from the lanai. The additional fans made the rooms comfortable in the high 28-29 degree (90s) heat. It accommodated a family of four nicely. We were greeted with plenty of information to get us settled amid a bowl of Hawaiian goodies. The unit was very clean. The bathrooms are in need of an update, but we were not in Maui for the unit bathrooms!
We would definitely recommend and plan to return, if possible, on our next trip.
Nice and clean, great location. Just had a problem with a flickering light in the master bathroom and slow drain in the second bathroom shower. I would of like to known ahead of booking that the owner was a real estate company.
Amazing, great location, overall nice.
Nice place to stay. Unit was clean and perfectly suited for my dad and I. We have been coming here for many years and will return!
Even better than expected! They provide everything you could need, as if you were at home. Beautiful property, great location, and very friendly staff! Check in and check out was so easy, keypads so you don’t have to worry about who has the key. The only thing is there is no a/c but they did provide plenty of fans and opening the door and lanai for a cross breeze helps a lot. Oh and please get regular pickle balls, the foam ones are junk.
Central location in Kehei and walking distances to nice beaches. Unit was clean, lack of AC was not an issue while we were there.
