Our stay at Kiahuna Plantation was absolutely wonderful. The ocean breeze kept the villa cool and comfortable, making the lack of air conditioning a complete non-issue. The ceiling and floor fans were more than sufficient, and the plantation shutters on both the windows and the doors allowed for a constant, refreshing cross-breeze—even with the door securely locked.The ocean view from our villa was breathtaking, and the short walk across the beautifully kept lawn to the beach made the experience even more special. It felt like the perfect mix of relaxation, charm, and convenience.Highly recommend Kiahuna Plantation for anyone looking for a serene, authentic, and comfortable Hawaiian getaway.
Loved the convenient location, size of condo, and proximity to the beach. Only thing I didn’t see reflected in the listing was the additional amount collected at check out for cleaning.
Very nice unit, well situated on the property .Tower fan in bedroom wasn’t working well, but was replaced after a few days.

Check in was easy, the Condo location was great!
The location was great, very close to the beach and great views. This condo does NOT have AC. It was so hot during our stay, it was pretty unbearable. There was one fan in the unit that barely worked, and was filthy. We had to drive back to Lihue the night of our arrival to buy additional fans. The pull out bed is ripped and very old, very uncomfortable. There were no kitchen spices, oil, foil etc. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes, so we had to wash dishes by hand. The location of this condo was great, but the condo needs some work.
Loved the unit and the property! Have stayed at the resort many times and loved this unit. Close to the water, opens up on the grass and a short walk to the beach and the BBQ’s. Great orientation for a shady lanai in the afternoons and morning sun. Unit has been remodeled and was nicely done and had all the neccessities. Kids loved playing on the grass and beach and great surf break for the kids to learn on, with easily accessible lessons right from the Kauai Surf School at the beach hut on property.

Found the location and amenities just what we needed for relaxing vacation.
The unit is in a fantastic location, has all that is required regarding utensils and is very clean. Unfortunately it does not have AC and it was very hot.
Please let us know if the unit gets AC as we cannot stay there again until it does. It was unbearably hot at night and couldn’t sleep.

This was our second stay in this beautiful unit . The decor, location and comfort were all superlative. Kiahuna is our favorite south shore location in Kaua’i and had been for the past 30 years .
One of the best hidden gems on the entire island . Kiahuna Plantation has our heart .
Kiahuna Plantation is a wonderful property and this condo unit is ideal. It had all the essentials, including many kid toys to keep them busy. They thoroughly enjoyed the easy accessibility to the Great Lawn spending more time outside than inside. The condo is in a great location with wonderful views. We look forward to returning again soon!
Bathroom sink cold water handle is broken. Stove burner plate was disconnected and not level. Microwave digital was unreadable. Weird smell throughout rental. For the money it was totally unacceptable
We had a great time in Kauai with our two boys. Our place was older but updated and well kept. The grounds were beautiful and they were constantly tidying up. I was a bit concerned of the sleeping arrangements as one of the beds was a pull out but it worked. I slept on the pull out with our youngest and The only downfall was that it’s right next to the lanai so when the sprinklers came on between 5-6 am I heard them and woke up. Not a problem for me as I enjoying getting up before the family to watch the sunrise and read :) The open lawn off the lanai was perfect as our family is very sports driven. Our “down time” back at the house consisted of games or board games. The unit had a volleyball, bocce ball, board games, boogie boards (which we used a lot of!), beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkel gear. It’s was nice to have all that when we loaded up for our very short walk to the beach. The towel hut was a great surprise too. Overall the unit was perfect! We will def be back to stay!!!

We have stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation many times and knew what to expect. This was our first time in this unit, though, and we loved the location right on the open grass.
The unit was very well equipped. Other family member came over for bbqs and there were baking pans, bbq tongs, and plenty of glassware options. The dishwasher was convenient. There were also beach chairs, games, and boogie boards.
The master bed was very comfortable, and my adult daughter slept on the pull out and found it to be adequate.
The toilet/shower area is a little worn out, but otherwise the unit felt clean.
We would gladly rent it again!
