Right off the bat, the communication was top notch. Before we arrived, Zhe reached out with details and to wish us a pleasant stay. We arrived earlier than anticipated with two small children and our parents in their 70s and 80s, everyone just wanted to decompress from traveling. A quick text to Zhe and we got the green light to enter the property slightly ahead of check in time. (With a bunch of family quickly turning crabby from travel, we appreciated the flexibility more than you can ever know)The home was clean, beautiful and private, with space for everyone to spread out. Our stay was exceedingly comfortable. The location is great, right at the start of Ali'i Drive - it's a quick drive to great restaurants, beaches and shopping. There's a shopping center just up the hill for any quick essentials... and of course, shave ice. I can't say enough good things about the communication! Zhe checked in regularly just to make sure we were taken care of and was super quick to respond to any questions. What a complete sweetheart!With the proximity to "all the things", you'd think we'd have left the house more than we did, but we were really comfortable. The kitchen was great for cooking meals. The kids loved having breakfast on the lanai and watching movies on the giant projector. Of course, they loved the pool! Personally, I loved waking up to birdsong and laying in bed, watching the beautiful garden come alive.What a perfect place to be able to call home away from home.
The house was immaculate and well laid out. We didn’t use the gaming system but I did see that there was one in there. It also has a projection TV that we didn’t use but we were there on vacation to get away from the world not sit and watch TV. The kitchen had everything we needed, the only thing it is missing is some lids for some of the pans. The host was very responsive whenever we texted. I would definitely rent this house again. The one down fall we had was the AC in the bedrooms is subpar and we had to use fans to bring the cool air in to the bedroom from the center of the house.
We had a great time at this beautiful house. It’s in a great location for exploring the Kona coast. The owners obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making it relaxing and enjoyable for guests. We would definitely stay here again.
Exceptional property with huge rooms and extra amenities. Excellent location, close to everything but quiet at night. This was a pre-retirement trip for me, plus I hadn't had a vacation with my kids since 2008 when they were still young and living at home. Both are now married, one with his own kids. So--me, my s/o, daughter, son-in-law, son, daughter-in-law, and my two grandchildren had a fabulous time together making memories to last us a lifetime! Zhe is a thoughtful, caring host. My mother, unfortunately, passed three weeks prior to our trip. Zhe sent a wonderful sympathy card with a personal message written inside via Fedex to the property for me. A phenomenal, unexpected surprise. Something you wouldn't get at a hotel or resort. Thank you, Zhe, for allowing us the use of this beautiful slice of Heaven and all the extra, personal touches! Returning to Zhe's beautiful property felt like coming home. As a repeat guest, I continue to be impressed by the seamless blend of comfort, style, and practicality that this home offers. The well-stocked kitchen, complete with organic spices, made our meals delightful. The rooftop deck remains my favorite spot, ideal for enjoying sunsets and stargazing, a testament to the care Zhe puts into creating memorable experiences for guests. The proximity to shopping and dining options, along with the tranquil walk to the beach for a quick swim, adds to the convenience. Zhe's consistent communication and attentiveness ensure every stay is hassle-free. It's clear why this place keeps calling me back. Can't wait for my next visit!
