The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting; a tennis pro is on hand daily for lessons or game improvement coaching.
The large, newly remodeled swimming pool (Redone in 2016) is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbeque areas for guests to go to.

The location of the unit is ideal for getting around the Kona area. The propety is beautiful. The unit itself has a walk out covered lanai that is pefect for sitting and listening to the waves crash and the bird chirp. You will not be disappointed staying here.

Book this condo! The grounds are perfect for families. Very safe and protected with gated entry. Our 4 kids (8-14 years) loved all the amenities including a large pool, volleyball, pickleball/tennis courts, and walkable beach access. We were pleasantly surprised by the owners attention to detail. Bedding, linens, cookware, small appliances, tupperware were very high quality. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay with pickleball and tennis equipment, beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards. And to top it off, you can hear and see the waves crashing at all times! Amazing sunsets!

This is a great unit in a lovely complex. At the end of the row of buildings, there are not many people walking by this ground floor unit. The shoji screens open the bedroom to the living area for an open feeling. We had small children with us and the lawn area in front was a great place to use up some energy. The pool area was perfect and friendly. The complex is a little far from downtown Kona for us, but the location was quiet and all about the direct ocean access. Plenty of water toys to take to the beach. We loved having an almost private sandy beach to sit by.

Location met our needs perfectly between Kaanapali and Kapalua. With easy access to condo from parking to unit. Clean and comfortable. Well stocked with linens and beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrella, etc. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, but suggest having microwave safe plates. We did have a hiccup with twin bed assembly, but we addressed it and notified management, with our reply.

We loved our stay at this condo right on the ocean. It is truly oceanfront. Great location, convenient to most places on the island and close to necessities. The beds were comfy and condo was nicely renovated. We had everything we needed and also were so appreciative of the management company - they were easy to work with and flexible when we needed. We will definitely be back!

We greatly enjoyed our stay on the Big Island at the Surf and Racquet club.. The unit was well stocked and the views were stunning. Beds were comfortable. It was convenient to be on the first floor. There are lots of fans but no ac. We visited in august and it was very hot one evening without ac. I recommend this unit and hope to return one day!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. It is even better in person and more spacious than the pictures. It had all the supplies we needed and a well stocked kitchen. There is a grocery store very close by so it was very convenient. The location on the oceanfront is great and just very relaxing to wake up to the view of the waves. We had complete privacy and they were very quick to respond if we had any questions about things to do on the island.

Knutson was proactive and accommodating in any inquiries, booking, checkin and checkout that makes our trip relaxing and enjoyable.Communication before, during and after was clear and useful.The unit is well maintained, well equipped and beautifully decorated with Hawaii island vibes. The beds are very comfortable. The location was wonderful for our family to enjoy the morning coffee/tea and watching sunset. We can not recommend enough to our friends/family to choose Knutson for making reservations and Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club for their Big island vacation.

It doesn't get any more ocean front than this! Waves right off of the back porch. Amazing sunsets and rainbows. Very clean and spacious. Convenient location.
