We were so tired after a long day on the road to Hana and it was the perfect ending to a long day to come sit on the comfy balcony sofa and look at the waves. We enjoyed being able to spend the night in Hana and start the next day without the crowds. There is a kitchen to make food and anything you could need! The host was very communicative and kind. Speaking to accessibility, there are no stairs, but there is a small lip of a couple inches required to get into the apartment. After that my wheelchair (16 inch seat) was able to get around everywhere except for into the bathroom but it is a small bathroom. Come here for great views and calm vibes! We also loved the posters around the apartment. We watched the Hawaiian film advertised on one and spent our trip listening to the ukelele player advertised on the other.

Ocean view condo in Hana that’s walking distance to Red Sands and Food Trucks - this place was incredible. Great for any couple or single person looking for a nice getaway

Nice studio condo. Quiet, beautiful view of bay with black beach. It’s an adventure driving the road to Hāna. 7 Heavenly pools easy walk with awesome pounding surf at the opening of falls. Restful two days.

We ended up staying here after taking our time sightseeing along the Road to Hana. Compared to other locations, this was an amazing deal. Our host was easy to get in touch with and even went as far as to message us during our stay to inform us of the overnight rain storm and possible road conditions we may encounter! The view of the black rock sand beach was lovely and although there is no AC unit, the room cooled down fast with some open windows and an ocean breeze. Very clean and well equipped, quiet and conveniently located.

Nice location. We liked the decor. Suggest non slip mat for bathtub. Very slippery when taking shower. Door lock needs more instruction.

This was our third visit to Hana and we decided to spend two nights staying there, to enjoy as much of the area as possible. Hana Kai is perfectly situated on Hana Bay. The unit itself is a bit outdated but was clean and within walking distance to food trucks and a couple of restaurants.The unit wasn't well stocked with simple basics, things we have never needed to bring to a VRBO before, like a dishcloth or hand soap. There were not enough bath towels and even though the unit manager agreed to bring more to us, they never did. Overall this is a good home base for anyone wanting to further explore Hana and all it's beauty. on Hana Vay

GREAT room for 2 people. Trade winds and ocean right off balcony lulled us to sleep. Balcony faced northeast. Went out every morning to see gorgeous sunrises!Bed was perfect, firm but soft the first half inch. Decor was beautiful! Kitchen well-stocked. Everything worked well. Bathroom clean. We chose not to use our electronics and listened to the ocean instead. No TV available to tempt us.We will definitely be back and rent this delightful space again!Note: Maybe get plastic hangers as metal on wooden ones were severely rusted. Ditto for shower curtain rod.

Balcony and location was great. Badly stained bath towels, mildew on shower curtain and fridge water container, visible dust wads throughout (fun surprise turning on a lamp), and floors that made my feet dirty gave me the ick though.

Easy access to the unit from the parking lot was very helpful for unloading luggage. Room was clean; fresh flowers a nice touch. The table, chairs, and bed on the porch made for great relaxation to the sound of the ocean. Full-size refrigerator was a plus because we travel with our own food and the WIFI worked well. Although pricey for its size, this compact unit was a perfect base for exploring the area.
