We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and convenient. Having two bathrooms was a big plus, and the bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the washer and dryer, which made things much easier during our stay.A few small things would have made it even better, like having some basic spices for cooking and a coffee grinder. The only challenges were the humidity (there’s no air conditioning, so we relied on fans, which made it a bit warm and sticky) and the ants, which are common in the area. We kept food in the fridge and cupboards, which helped.On the positive side, the property manager was excellent—very responsive and accommodating. When our shower clogged, they had someone out right away to fix it.All in all, it’s a comfortable and well-managed condo that offers a peaceful stay in a beautiful location.

This is a very comfortable condo in a great location. There's a view of the ocean and a short walk across the landscaped grounds to the beach. The condo is very nicely decorated with attractive artwork and furniture. The rental management agency was very responsive when we contacted them about a couple of issues. The first was when we went to take showers and discovered that there was no soap or shampoo in either shower. We used bar soap from the sink and the management agency had a housekeeper deliver soap for the showers that afternoon, but I was informed that shampoo was considered a personal item and was not provided. First time I've encountered that at a rental. We purchased some shampoo and left it for the next guests. When we went to make dinner we discovered that there was no cutting board anywhere in the kitchen. Perhaps a previous guest had taken it to one of the outside grills and left it there. The agency had 2 cutting boards delivered in the afternoon. Neither of these issues really detracted from the experience of staying in such a great place.
The condo was very nice. The area was great too. The Kauai Vacation Rentals folks were responsive to the minor requests that I presented.The airflow through the condo was very good.I would recommend this condo.

Great stay. There was two days where there was a lot of landscaping work which was very loud.
The proximity to both the north and south shores is perfect. The scenery from the window is a beautiful bay with sandy beach and a tide pool, lovely grounds and swaying palm trees. The property managers were great to work with. Loved our stay.

We loved the central location - fun in Kapaa and surrounding areas and easy drives to the Northern and Southern sides of the island. Only drawback is the hot water - it varies depending on time of day...

My husband and I have stayed in Building 4 many times before. We love the cross breezes that occur with the bldg being parallel to the beach. Unit 424 has about 12 stairs since it’s on the 2nd floor. This unit has one small bathroom with a small shower and another bathroom off the bedroom with a tub/shower combo. KVR was very accommodating to our needs. Our 10 days were so relaxing. My husband golfed every day and I shopped at the little shopping center next door, sat in a beach chair down at the beach and swam in the ocean to cool down. From there I showered off sand and moved to the pool until it was time for a happy hour drink with my hubby.

What a great stay on Kauai. The unit was in great shape and the grounds were so well groomed. Great to have ocean swimming at the property.
The location is great. The view is $1M. The condo is well stocked, but so yourself a favor and find another place to stay. There is mold growing and we both got sick. Very sick. You can smell it when you first walk in. There’s about 1-2 minutes of hot water then it’s the ocean temp. So forget washing your hair, conditioning it, shaving and bathing all at the same time with hot water. The add said washer and dryer. The breaker box has a label with washer and dryer on it. Apparently it’s in one of the 3 locked doors. The office said we had to use a coin operated one at the office. We wouldn’t have chosen it for a 13 day stay had we known there wasn’t a W&D in the unit. I read the review about the hot water and assumed people were exaggerating or took long showers. Nope. It lasts for 2 minutes max. As a landlord, people should be responsible and not try to rent out a moldy unit without remediating it first.

I've stayed at the Lae Nani complex for many years, it's hard to beat the views and location on the island! This unit is worn - notably one of the bathroom showers is difficult to operate, there wasn't enough hot water for two showers (property management did stop by to adjust the temperature and it didn't impact water temp more than one day). This unit is priced lower than others nearby, if your budget can flex a bit, recommend looking at other options.

This condo was an awesome place to stay. Ocean front, heard the crashing waves, lots of space. Loved the location.
Only issue is that I don't remember reading that it was on the 2nd floor with no elevator. We didn't need one, stairs are fine, but for others it could have been a problem.
The location was excellent. We liked being able to walk to a variety of restaurants in the area. The beach in front of the hotel was a lovely place to hang out, swim and snorkel. It was a really nice touch that there was all the beach gear for us to use! The condo was very spacious and comfortable, lots of space for 2 people. Previous reviews mentioned the lack of kitchen supplies, but it seems like they've outfitted the kitchen since then--no problems there. My only one complaint would be the towels and pillow cases. I know I have a sensitive nose for this, and I may be the only one who notices, but the towels and pillow cases had that smell of when things don't dry out. I know it's difficult with the humid weather. In my experience, you can't get that smell out of a towel once it's in there. It may be good to use a product that gets out protein like Oxiclean, because I could also smell the funk of previous guests on the towels/pillow cases.
