Excellent location for view and value. This well appointed one-bedroom overlooks entire Hanalei Bay with Bali Hai view. Lanai & grassy overlook makes it complete. Walk steep ramp down to small private beach, or to VG public beach with restaurant, bar & amenities (access via stairs adjacent to 1 Hanalei Bay Hotel). Car needed to enjoy Hanalei retaurants & other amenities. Will Return.

The views from this unit are exceptional. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and numerous rainbows. the kitchen had very good quality cooking pans and nice dishes to use. Everything was very clean and well maintained. When we had a minor issue that we needed help with, the management took immediate action to resolve the problem. I would highly recommend renting this unit.

The view was magnificent This was our 2nd Pali Ke Kia visit & we loved it again. The 1st floor unit provided an open area from the lanai to the back yard and ocean view. Just breath taking sunset with the mountains and ocean view

I book this unit based on the location which is fantastic. Amazing sunsets and close to the path to the beach. The unit had everything we needed. The only slight negative was a few cockroaches and the 'tv' is really just a computer monitor.
The paratmenr has everything you need- chairs, umbrella, cooler, well stocked kitchen.
The WiFi is terrible, even being right next to the modem. And the tv is very very small. In this day and age of inexpensive TV’s it would be nice if they upgraded to something you can see from the sofa.

Chose this rental based on the view, which was as advertised. Loved seeing the nene arrive on the lawn every afternoon - watching them interact was a surprising highlight of our stay!No AC, most noticeable in the afternoon leading up to sunset, which unfortunately was usually when we returned to the unit after our day's activities. Had to close the shades to block out the sun, which kind of defeats the purpose of that gorgeous view during the afternoon hours. (Fans have nothing on the beating sun in August.) Also, people often hang out on the lawn to see the sunset, take photos, etc. This didn't bother us, but good to know if you are planning a stay.)We let KVR know when we returned keys to the office that there were MANY dead bugs in the bathroom. Not a handful, but loads. Seems like there is an infestation in the wall or behind the vanity mirror. (I also emailed photos and a video, but did not hear back.) The shower window screen is not flush, so mosquitoes were able to get in. The TV is comically small, smaller than many computer monitors. While we are not visiting Kauai to watch TV, we did want to see the Olympics, and sometimes it's fun to put on a movie. FYI PKK pool is quite small, and BBQing is not permitted on the property. (We saw many units with electric grills on the lanai, but not in 106.) One must walk down the rather steep path to the beach to grill! (We did not.)
