Everything about this home is beautiful and stellar. It is subsided enough in a quiet neighborhood right across from the ocean yet in a good location to get around the Big Island. We’re had the pleasure of a tsunami warning during our stay. The communication from the host company was amazing and they were there to help answer any and all questions during the event and anytime during the stay. I use VrBO frequently and this was one of my best experiences. Mahalo!
Great place. Family of 4 spent 4 nights. Quiet street with walking access to the sea. Plenty of space. The pool was well used.

This was our second time staying at this house. (We also rented it five months ago over the Christmas holiday). Our experience this time was as wonderful as the first. The house is beautiful, spotless and comfortable. The pool is gorgeous and in fabulous condition. The location is the best in Keaau. The street is peaceful, the ocean breezes are lovely and keep the lanai cool. The neighbors are friendly. The property management company was very responsive and professional. We've rented many houses in Hawaii and this is our favorite.
This is a hard review. The home and pool are very nice but we rented for the promise and picture of the ocean. I had dreamed of watching the sun come up over the ocean and watching the waves for large portions of the day. We scrimped on everything else and spent almost five thousand dollars for nearly two weeksI thousand dilla
The house is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Throughout the day, you get the relaxing sounds of nature with the waves crashing, numerous birds, frogs, and, my personal favorite, some rooster crows. The neighborhood is very friendly and there are always people out for walks and bike rides.The space is large and comfortable. The pool is much larger than expected, great for swimming, relaxing, or playing at any time of day. Spending time on the lanai is perfect in the heat of the day with a cool breeze coming off the ocean. We received a friendly message from our maintenance contact before our check in time but had no need to reach out.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaloli Sunrise by the Sea. We were able to enjoy the pool almost everyday and it was wonderful after walking down to the cliffs. House was well stocked except we couldn't find a cutting board. Would definitely recommend this house.

We had a wonderful time. If you are staying on the Hilo side of the Big Island, this is one of our favorite streets - beautiful, safe, quiet, friendly neighbors, a few short walk to the cliffs (which are dramatic). The house was clean and well kept, and the ceiling fans and sliding doors throughout the house kept it cool. The pool was also clean and well designed and so enjoyable. The property managers responded quickly to all questions and any problems. They were a pleasure to deal with. We hope to return soon. Mahalo

The home was beautiful and spacious with a great swimming pool. The location was perfect as it felt close to everything but provided great privacy. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our time in Hawaii, the place was the perfect size for our group. We were disappointed that the pool was unavailable for our use, but it all worked out well in the end.
A delightful house on a quiet street. Good air circulation in the house (no AC), so open all the many windows and relax on one of two lanais while the interior cools down. The evenings were quite pleasant: Comfortable beds & evening bird/frog songs through the night (bring earplugs for sleeping!) Kitchen was well equipped. The pool was a fabulous way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely recommend!

This house was a great spot for exploring the Hilo side of the island. Super clean, good location less than half an hour from Hilo. There was a binder at the house with suggestions for things to do and see. We hiked the trail to Shipman Beach - the trail head was right around the corner. So glad we did. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water! Volcanoes park was a 45 minute drive. Snorkeled at Richardson's Beach Park in Hilo and saw sea turtles! The pool was great for cooling off on warmer days. Recommend the house and the area. We will be back!

We were so happy with Kaloli Sunrise for our Big Island family trip! We expected less honestly because the price was so good - even at the last minute. The house is in a really friendly neighborhood, right across from the ocean. The pool was SPOTLESS and so refreshing after days spent exploring the island. The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was AWESOME (we were a party of 3). The kitchen was easy for cooking and there are two dining areas on the wrap around porch. One night it rained pretty heavily but we could still enjoy eating outside - the roof fully covers the porches. We also really appreciated the nice bath towels, pool towels, and other little amenities. They really took care of us and we would definitely book this home again, thank you!
