The property has an incredible view from the Great Room and has access to a nice part of the ocean with a bit of sand and a view of lots of tide pools that collect on the rock reef.The pool is nicely heated and the hot tub was also fantastic.Aside from the great views and amazing location, the best part of our stay was the host Richard who was helpful with anything we needed and even called us when we needed to evacuate for a tsunami.
My family stayed at this wonderful Kailua home for 6 weeks in May/June and had an incredible experience! The property location and view from the main living space are perfection and the house had everything to offer that we were looking for. Hailey (house manager) and Ramon (house maintenance) were so pleasant to work with whenever we needed anything. We have two kids and we ventured between the pool (on the garden side of the home) and hot tub (on the ocean side) all day long. The upstairs living space/kitchen was open and spacious and the breeze off the ocean always felt incredible. The kitchen, bathrooms and garage (pool/beach toys/chairs) had everything that we needed to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. We went into downtown Kailua and to the beach constantly with ease. We are so happy with our trip and would absolutely recommend this property to others who want a relaxed and lovely vacation!
This vacation home in Kailua is a genuinely delightful retreat. It offers stunning ocean views, remarkably breathtaking during sunrise. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the property boasts a spacious interior adorned with contemporary decor and abundant natural light, complete with multiple comfortable bedrooms. We definitely enjoyed the Zen like atmosphere of the pool and garden at the front of the house. The fully equipped kitchen greatly facilitates meal preparation, enhancing the overall experience of our stay. This space is ideal for relaxation, adventure, and creating cherished memories with loved ones.During our visit in April, we had the unique opportunity to observe some lively indigenous shearwater birds that roost and nest nearby at night, coinciding with the onset of their mating season. While their vocalizations can be a bit energetic and lively and may require some adjustment for those who favor a quieter sleeping environment, it's worth noting that the property owner has thoughtfully provided earplugs to help mitigate the noise. Overall, this is an enchanting place to unwind, with just a minor consideration regarding the presence of local wildlife.
Richard’s home is an amazing retreat to paradise. Our family could not have enjoyed the experience more.The home is laid out spaciously with many areas to spread out and enjoy the sights and sounds of the surf and ocean.The support once on site was immediate and gracious.The pictures are beautiful but the in person experience is far better.We hope to return again soon.
This is an incredible property. The views are absolutely stunning, the house is fully stocked, the pool area is lovely, and there’s a jacuzzi. What more could you want! We traveled with our 4 year old and 4 month old and it couldn’t have been a better vacation for our young family. You could stay at this house all day and not leave and it would be an incredible vacation. It’s a plus that beaches nearby are some of the most beautiful in the world. Richard was great to communicate with. We cannot wait to go back!
IT WAS AN EXCELLENT STAY, WE WERE MET BY STAFF WHEN WE ARRIVED AND SHE EXPLAINED ALL ABOUT THE HOUSE. SHE ALSO MADE SURE WE WERE ABLE TO GET MY HUSBAND INTO THE HOUSE IN HIS WHEELCHAIR. IT WAS A PERFECT STAY FOR US - WE ENJOYED JUST BEING THERE AT THE HOUSE - WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE SWIMMING POOL, AND HOT TUB, AND OF COURSE, IT WAS 5 MINUTES TO THE CENTER OF TOWN KAILUA. WE WOKE UP TO THE CRASHING SOUNDS OF THE WAVES EVERY MORNING, AND DRANK OUR LION MACADAMIA NUT COFFEE, AND WE WENT SLEEP EACH NIGHT LISTENING TO THE SOUNDS OF THE WAVES. THERE WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH ROOM AND NOONE FELT CROWDED OR CRAMPED, AS A PARTY OF 5, WE ALL HAD OUR OWN SPACE TO ENJOY. CAN’T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE - AM CURRENTLY RECOMMENDING TO ALL MY FRIENDS, AND ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN TO US TALK ABOUT OUR FABULOUS HAWAIIAN HOLIDAY!
This property has a wonderful combination of things to do between the beachfront access, hot tub, pool, and everything that Kailua has to offer. Everything is well maintained, towels well stocked, kitchen well equipped, and property manager and owner accessible for any questions or issues. 10/10
This was the vacation dream to be on the ocean watching sunrises every morning. The house is beautiful! The host was very accommodating and welcomed us with lots of information about the house and our stay. It was a joy to be able to stay in such a beautiful place as we vacationed the island of Oahu!! I highly recommend it and I will be back for a third time very soon!!!
Just spent a month at this outstanding property and I cannot say enough about what a magical place it is. The location in this gorgeous neighborhood of Kailua exceeded our expectations. It is perfectly located to explore all that the island offers and is located near every convenience any family would need. Kailua is a charming beach town with some of the most beautiful beaches on all of O'ahu and we were so happy that we chose this house as our home base to explore. The property is located right on the beach and even though you cannot swim right there and it was a dream to wake up to the incredible view and the sound of the ocean every day. The house is well-maintained and beautifully furnished. The salt water pool is just dreamy and we loved every moment spent in its healing waters. The owner, Richard, is a wonderful, caring and communicative host and tended to our every need. He works with fantastic managers who are on call to help with any issue that came up. Was just an outstanding experience and I truly hope to return someday. 10 out of 10. Thank you Richard for an unforgettable month that we will never forget!
This is the second time we have rented this lovely home. The sunrise over the ocean ( seen from Ocean side deck and great room windows) and sunset behind the mountains ( seen from upstairs lanai) starts and ends each day with beauty. Enough room for grandparents, parents, teen grandchildren to be together and have own space. The heated, saltwater pool, walking beautiful Kailua beach, biking for us grands. Mountain hikes, tennis at free , available Kailua courts ,boogie boarding at Kalama section of Kailua beach , zip lining at Kualoa ranch for younger set. Wonderful and relaxing time was had by all. We hope to be back soon.
We reserved this gorgeous home to accommodate my husband and myself as well as our grandkids (aged 15 and 12) for a long weekend visit, and our adult children for a week. First, this place is as spectacular as the photos show. But there's no way to capture by words alone the full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows that mesmerized us as we looked out at the ocean every day. Everything was super clean and even spices were well-stocked, as were pots and pans and kitchen tools. The AC kept the place comfortable on the hottest days - but the relaxing lanai and private pool were our favorite ways to keep cool. Also, it was a quick drive to the nearest beach and not far to Kailua Beach, our favorite. While we didn't need much help, the property managers were very responsive.
