We loved our stay. The location was perfect - walking distance to the most beautiful beaches in the world. The space was perfect for us, especially the outdoor shower and patio with a big plumeria tree.
Excellent location. Head out the back gate, take a right, and walk three minutes to the beach. Head out the back gate, take a left, and walk two minutes to Kalawapai Market for coffee and breakfast/lunch sandwiches (and a bottle of wine to take back to your place). Hop in your car and it’s literally less than ten minutes to anyplace in town.
My family of four (husband and kids—17 and 14) had plenty of room. Check in/check out was super simple.
The location is literally a 5 minute walk from the most beautifull beach on Ohahu. The apartment is well furnished with all the basic necessities, and much more. It is a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. Tom and Kara were very friendly, kind, and available. We would definately return or recommend.
The house was well decorated and had all the equipments we needed for the beach and kitchen. Bedrooms have comfortable bed. The family hostess are friendly and supportive. We had a wonderful time!
I would recommend staying at this property. The apartment was as described on vrbo. The ocean was only 1 block away. The owners lived at the same location and were available to answer our questions. If staying on O’ahu, the town of Kailua is a great option.
Our stay was excellent in every way. My spouse and our 3 children (middle school and elementary) were perfectly comfortable. The way the house is set up, we felt we had privacy. The interior was clean and comfortable for our family. We cooked and grilled at home quite a bit and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was lovely to eat outside on the patio. They also created a lovely guide for eateries in the area. The outdoor shower was perfect for washing sand off feet and snorkel gear. They even had a clothes line set up for swimsuits and towels. A beautiful beach is a very short walk, maybe 5 minutes at most. An easy, flat walk. There is also a pizza place and Hawaiian shaved ice about an 8 minute walk the other direction. The hosts were wonderful and were able to answer questions or make recommendations. They really thought of everything at their place, from the design layout to the amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Tom and Kara are terrific hosts and the rental was in great condition. So close to the beach and very easy to get in and out to enjoy our own island fun. It was great having a full kitchen and bbq grill. Very cozy and overall great experience. Thank you!
Everything you needed was in this home… All the extras! So quick to the beach out the back gate and to the market for coffee in the morning!
We traveled to Hawaii for 8 days with our two kids (ages 8 and 2). This house was perfect and we walked to the beach everyday since it was literally across the street. Tom and Kara were amazing host! They had a pack and play for our little one and all the beach toys a kid could have. We will be back again! Thank you again!
