Our Kailana home is newly renovated and decorated with beautiful, comfortable, tropical taste. It is located in a wonderful beachside neighborhood in Kailua, Oahu. It takes a few minutes walk to get to the beach. This property is large, quiet and private. The yard has lush tropical plants surrounding the home.
The views of the Koolau Mountain range are amazing from the lanai! You might spend most of you time out here on the lanai sipping coffee, a cocktail or grilling with the large gas grill.
The full kitchen is gorgeous with granite and stainless steel appliances.
There is a hot/cold outdoor private shower for you to enjoy after the beach or perhaps for every shower!
There is a large carport with plenty of parking. The washer and dryer is located out here as well.
We have beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and an umbrella for your days at the beach.
Kailua is a wonderful town and is just a quick 2 minute drive away or for a healthy 15-20 minute walk. You will find ample places to dine and shop here!

This house was our home for 10 days. Ideal size, location, beautiful garden, and walking distance to the beach. For runners, great location to run to Lanikai beach as well. My family of 4 (with 2 teens) was in love with this place. We hope to come back in the future. Katie, the contact person was super friendly and available. Mahalo 🌺

We spent a little over 3 weeks at the Kalama Tract rental with our two kids aged 3 and under. Our stay was fantastic. It was the perfect getaway house for our family. Absolutely loved the property with the gated yard and the outdoor shower. The 5-10 minute walk to the beach was awesome and the property had all necessary beach supplies.
The inside was extremely cozy and had all the basics you need for an extended stay. Highly recommend opting for the portable AC units as they were a life saver at night in the bedrooms with how warm it was when we were there.
Our host Katy was great, working with us when we needed to change dates, promptly answering any questions we had prior to our stay and checking in with us along the way. Rental instructions were simple and easy to follow.
Overall a really enjoyable stay and would happily rent again.

Excellent location and very clean. Less than 5 minute walk and you are on the beach. House was comfortable for the 4 of us and the outdoor shower was used a great feature and used a lot. As others stated it can get hot during the day but the AC units really helped. The beach chairs, umbrellas and boards were great to have access to. Highly recommend especially for those who want to stay outside of Waikiki area.

We usually stay with family on Oahu, but were in town for a wedding so everyone was full and we had to find a place for our family of four. This home was everything we needed and more. It was clean, well maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed for the beach. We made full use of the kitchen, laundry, and outdoor space. Our kids loved looking for geckos in the yard. We appreciated the AC for the bedrooms during our July stay, so we could rest comfortably after a full day of boogie boarding or hiking. The fans kept the living room and kitchen comfortable. Katie was fantastic to work with; super communicative and helpful. If we need a rental on Oahu in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Cleanliness on point, plenty of beach going stuff for use making it easier than having to buy or rent, great location to stay away from busy busy Waikiki, with plenty of things to do on that side of the island and also short distances to more amazing sights and hikes.. All around great stay for price!!

Property and house are beautiful. Kitchen has basic dishes for meals. Host is helpful and responsive. Just one block from beach access lane. Beach lane is about a block long. Beach is beautiful. Perfect for long walks or swimming. Our daughter enjoyed using the boogie board, and beach chairs with shoulder straps are a plus. Perfect location close to the beach and town. We had a wonderful time. Would gladly stay here again.

This house is ideally situated a block from Kalama Beach Park, on the quieter end of Kailua Beach. The house was quite hot during our August stay, so for summer stays you should consider renting the portable AC unit that is available at least for late summer stays (it is not included in the rental price, which I had not understood from the listing). The house is on a very quiet lot, shielded from most neighbors, but be aware that you are in a residential neighborhood and there may be noise; the next-door neighbors were hosting family and friends for a wedding so they had a few loud late night parties (“late” in Kailua is until 10:30/11).
The house is amazingly well equipped - kitchen stuff, towels, toys, chairs, and boogie/foamy surf board. The outdoor seating and grill are wonderful, as is the outdoor shower.
We loved staying here. Only real complaint is the internet service, which was out for a few days. This is typical of Kailua and likely not in the owners’ control, but a nuisance to be aware of nonetheless.
Katie the manager is very responsive. Stay here to really feel like you are a Kailua resident. Mahalo!!!

We were so happy with the house! Beautiful and secluded property only a block from the beach. The house had everything we needed and Katie was easy to reach if we needed something. Would definitely stay there again!

Katie was wonderful to work with, she was very attentive and helpful. The house was exactly like the pictures posted. It had EVERYTHING you could possibly need! We cooked almost everyday and the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and silverware that you may need. The grocery store, Target and other restaurants were only 5-10 minutes away which was a plus! The outdoor shower was my husband’s favorite and said he wanted to install one at our home, lol. The only downside to this property is not having air conditioning. It got really warm in the house during the day (I will say it was hotter than usual during the first week of our stay, the last 4 days of our vacation was much better). We did rent the portable air conditioning unit and left it in our bedroom because it just wasn’t big enough to cool the main living space. This was a great option offered by the property owner. Overall, I would definitely stay in the wonderful little hideaway again. Thank you Katie for your hospitality 🌺
