Perfect location if you want to swim at Lydgate Pond. This unit faces East for fabulous sunrises and cooling trade winds.
Condo had beautiful view. Everything was clean and ready for us. Email and texts from Garden Properties were great. Prople above us banged around alot. Want to apologize. Thought of this on flight home...got the dishwasher ready to go but forgot to turn it on. So sorry.
We had an amazing time here. The location is perfect for little kids. Heater pool at the condo and then 5 min walk to a beach set up for kids with two huge parks. Who could ask for more. The condo itself is stocked with everything we needed and we added a couple extra toys for kids. We'll definitely be back.

This was a hard one! The view from the lanai was phenomonal! 5 Stars for that. Location was great w/proximity to the airport, etc and beaches. However, I was disappointed in the unit itself. A little investment to update the very dated, well-used furniture would be nice. Maybe some new, fresh paint on the walls. How about shelves on the 4 brackets just hanging on the wall in the smaller bathroom? Maybe check the mattress/cover on the sofa bed.Yuk! Adjust the squeeky sliding door for the master bedroom closet. And the "fragrance" from the water treatment plant was not always the best (I know, not something you can control!). For the most part, it was clean and it was quiet. Fix some of those things and you have a 5 star unit!
Great place to stay. Perfect location to access all that Kauai has to offer. Very quiet area right on the beach. Beautiful sunrises and a quick walk to Lydgate beach park which our grandkids loved. Condo was perfect for us with 2 adults and 2 kids and the pool was a great way to wind down after a day of exploring . This was our 2nd time staying in this unit and we will be back! Condo is perfect
The location was great for me and my sister. It took about 45min to just over a 1 hr to get to our furthest destinations on the South or North Shore. It was very quiet and not a lot of foot traffic so it was great a spot to return to at the end of a busy day. Easy foot walk to Lydgate beach as well.
Just right for our family. Deck was amazing. Ocean breeze through the unit was great. Has three beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler for beach adventures. I bought two good boogie boards. You won't get any sleep with the roosters constantly crowing so bring ear plugs. No AC. Windows are always open. Location is in between a park and a walking trail runs right along the beach perfect for morning and evening walks.
Apartment was very nice. Clean, nice kitchens and bathrooms. Bedrooms were comfortable. But the very best part was the balcony overlooking the ocean. We spent every moment we were there, Sitting on the balcony Except for when we are sleeping Location is convenient to a lot of activities
The overall stay was good. However, I was told that the check in instructions and keypad code would be provided 4 days prior to arrival. I received the code the day of our arrival. Communication was ok but not great. Each time I asked for the keypad code it was not answered. But overall it was a good stay.
It was a lovely tropical property, all on one level with breezy winds that kept us plenty cool naturally with no A/C. My husband and I hosted my daughter and her two boys ages 12 and 14. Both my daughter and I have very stressful work lives and we are so chill as we leave Kauai after just a few days. The boys enjoyed themselves as we explored Kauai both toward Waimea Canyon and then toward Orinceville and Hanalei. Perfect location to do both! The layed back Kauai vibe was just what we needed, whether checking out the Farmers Markets or just soaking up the sunshine on the beach. Mahalo nui for our perfect vacation!

Check in was easy, Condo was in a fantastic location to see the entire island . My husband felt that the TV should have been mounted on the wall and larger and the ice maker didn’t work. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and so was the living room furniture but we spent most of our time exploring the island so it was not a big deal. Condo was a bit warm due to no AC but we made due with the fans. Security Guard was a very nice man and gave us recommendations on where to eat close by. Pool was nice as well. One last thing, the floor should probably be replaced with some LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) because when it rains, it comes in the windows and the flooring is damaged due to this. Overall, I would stay again and I would recommend due to the view and location.

Overall, our stay was quite pleasant, despite the fact that on the second day the refrigerator started breaking down and we lost much of our perishable food items. The management company was prompt in their response. The kitchen could use some additional gadgets, such as a garlic press, additional regular sized wine glasses, beer bottle opener. The lanai door needs to be fixed, as well as one of the louver drives. But the apt location was unbeatable.

The view from this unit was amazing and being right on the sandy beach for our kids to play was amazing! The unit itself is in need of some maintenance. Some deep cleaning and painting would greatly improve its overall feel and our dishwasher didn’t seem to work and the amount of dead bugs inside the unit itself proves that it hasn’t been working. I had to hand wash our dishes.

Garden Island responded to all concerns immediately. Outstanding service. However, they property was left in poor condition. It was clean but, plumbing needed attention,coffee maker did not warm coffee,TV was difficult to operate. The decor was spartan. We paid extra to have a twin beds converted to a king, bad result. The view from balcony is world class. Daily utility supplies very good. Garden Isl Prop is great to work with,super staff, but whoever works the details needs training.

We spent many morning hours gazing at the sunrises and ocean over morning coffees from the Lanai. The lanai cools down to comfortably by around noon to enjoy a lunch there as well, very pleasant. Very short walk to the Lydgate Park snorkel reef protected area; it's small and busy by noon, but so close you can get a daily swim or dose of fish snorkeling. It's about equal distance/time to go up to Anini (35m) or down to Poipu (40m) for more adventurous snorkeling. Definitely close enough to take the drive to Waimea and Kokee State parks (1.5hrs) to take in the views and hike, wouldn't want to be any further north though as you'd hit the traffic at Kapaa and Lihue getting south. Condo is a perfect corner unit, very private with almost no view of other guests. Fairly well equipped overall, 5c coffee pot on the small side for 2 of us but can make do, comfortable beds, bit warm on the SW side for sleeping but if you open the patio doors east windows, weather permitting, and bedroom windows get a good breeze through entire unit and the many fans help a lot. The 2 BBQs at the pool were great, the one BBQ closest to this unit was not, can't get hot enough, not all burners are working or working well enough to cook properly. None of the negatives are serious or would prevent us from booking this unit again. Management Corp very quick to respond to issues and questions.

We loved the location of this condo. The views of the ocean were stunning. We enjoying watching the sunrise in the morning and the moonrise over the water at night. We liked the walking trails right out from the property. We thought the location was central to most activities that we wanted to do. The condo was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some easy meals. The only issue we had was that the beds were a bit saggy and uncomfortable. Overall it was a great stay! The management had great communication as well. Thank you!

The views are incredible from the deck, we took morning walks on the beach daily. Short walk to park and to Hilton Garden hotel to have drink at the tiki bar watching the waves roll in. The unit was very nice, NO A/C (which we knew that) was very hot muggy left the sliding glass door open to let the breeze in, not good when it rains though. Both bedrooms have extra fans which were highly needed. Beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs and umbrella are available to use whichbwas nice. The kitchen is fully equipped to make your own meals. The pool on the grounds is available to use. There are grills available to use as well. Over all it was a really nice unit, met our needs and again the views are incredible. We saw several rainbows from the deck. Check in and check out supper easy, door code provided the day you arrive. The only reason for 4 stars is due to no a/c, flooring is nice but updated to vinyl waterproof flooring would be ideal for this unit.

This place is in a great location. Perfect beach just steps away from the unit. Off the main road and walking distance to great snorkeling area. Clean and large unit and had everything we needed. Just a couple minutes drive to kapa’a with shopping and restaurants. Will stay again!
