Perfect stay for the last 3 nights of our two week vacation on Kauai. Easy walk to the beach. Close to hiking trails. Short drive to food. Loved the lanai looking out at the ocean.
Location of the property was great! We woke up each day to the sunrise on the ocean. Would stay in the complex again but not the specific unit. We’re used to travelling in hostels but we found this place a bit too dirty for the price. It could use a good deep clean. Lots of stains, dust, and crumbs throughout the apartment. See photos.
Wow what an amazing spectacular stay for our trip! I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a reasonably priced beautiful place to stay, PICK THIS ONE!!! We came the first week of June and it was GORGEOUS! The flowers were blooming all over the property that you can see walking from the parking lot, to the view from the back deck! Speaking of view, what an insane picturesque backdrop to walk out to every morning! It’s set back in the condos so you have shade from the other buildings but a perfect view straight out to the ocean. Great place to sit for breakfast with a decent sized table and chair, and 2 comfortable lounge chairs. The inside is quaint and very on theme for a tropical vacation! No A/C, but wasn’t a huge problem for us there were multiple fans in each room and the windows let in the cool ocean breeze. The beach right next to the condos connects all the way down to a great beach called Lydgate, and you can access it with a beautiful walk down the beach or the sidewalk path! Cute pool with a grill, and another grill out front by the parking lot. Everyone was super friendly and not loud at night. Can’t think of anything I’d want to change or needed changed about this place. Overall this property made our stay so much better and I highly recommend it!
Enjoyed 2 weeks at this lovely spot. Thanks for having us!
The condo had a lovely view and the furniture was a bamboo style throughout the condo a very warm island feel. Even the bathroom being hand-painted of an ocean and very creative. It had everything you may need for the water and beach. But on the negative side it was dirty. it seemed as if there was oil all over the furniture the counters and even the pans in the oven had grease in them. Windows also very dirty. You lifted up the toaster and there were crumbs. It needs a deep cleaning. We contacted the owner and they sent a cleaning lady in to clean the surfaces. Which was nice.

Our 7 day vacation was wonderful and seamless both arriving and departing. The only issues were the evening indoor heat and daily wet paint in the exterior entrance areas. The ocean view and sounds were amazing. Kate (owner) always made herself available to us.
Lots of parking, quiet, ocean view, beach in front, close walk to snorkel pond. The condo was clean, lots of fans, kitchen well stocked with pans/utensils, closet full of beach supplies (we left some also), nice lanai with beautiful view, shower with tub, lovely paint design of beach and water in bathroom, good internet and tv set up, basket of books for reading. We were very pleased and are considering it for future rentals when we return to Kauai. The owner was very responsive to questions and process was super easy to reserve and rent. A++
Everything was just as shown in the description and pictures. Lovely lanai with ocean view. I feel that there were two things that if done would make this condo 5+ stars. 1) the bedding is in dire need of upgrading. And 2) there is no A/C. There were several fans that at least moved the air around. But it stayed hot in the condo all night—even with the windows and lanai doors open.
Condo is as pictured and perfect for a party of two. Kaha Lani is lovely and beautifully landscaped and maintained. The condo has a great ocean view from the lanai across the lush lawn, and even a nice mountain view from the front porch where the front door is located. All appliances, plumbing etc. worked well with no maintenance issues. The kitchen certainly had everything we needed, as did the bed and bath rooms. Swimming directly in from of Kaha Lani is discouraged because of dangerous rip currents, but Lydgate Park, a short and pleasant walk down a paved pathway, has a 3 acre "pool" of calm water created by the placement of large lava rocks, forming a kind of lagoon. The swimming and snorkeling here is wonderful, and a lifeguard was on duty any time we were there. There is even a smaller, shallow "pool" perfect for small children and/or those not comfortable in deep water. The Kaha Lani pool is really nice and the perfect temperature, refreshing but not at all cold. The condo comes with both ceiling and additional fans in every room, and though it was quite humid while we were there (a hurricane had just skirted south of the islands) we were comfortable. If the Ritz Carlton or other high-rise and air conditioned accommodations are your thing while visiting Hawaii, this is not for you. However if you want to enjoy the natural beauty of the Garden Isle, I highly recommend it! Kate, the owner, was terrific to work with. God willing, we will return!
Great condo right on the ocean. Roomy and clean.
Without a car, the location was a little challenging. Walking and the bus were doable, however.
The room was clean and had a great breeze from the ocean at all times. Great views and easy to get to the beach and tidal pool to swim as well.
Some of windows we were unable to close because the handles were bent or broken. Kitchen stove had food spillage in plates under electric burners and underneath the stove and the previously mentioned plates had burned on food or liquid stuff and rust spots. Took 1 hour to clear the stove before using.
Had a great view and location.
We had a great stay! Easy beach access or stay on the lanai if you want to enjoy the sunrise from a lounge chair. Everything we needed was here, all we had to do was buy food. Kate was very clear on directions to the place and check in/check out. The condo is clean and cute; perfect beach house! We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our first time on Kaua’i!
We enjoyed everything about our stay here (well, except the roosters but that’s a Hawaii problem). From start to finish it was easy. Communication with Kate was great, the view was fabulous, the complex was well maintained. The beach in front was quiet almost all the time, and you could walk as far as you can see. Easy access to the east and south shores and all the great stuff to see and do. The unit was clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully stocked with the things you need. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us, Kate!
A very quiet and calm area of Kawaii with walking of the beach. Great communication with the host, Kate. We attended the Smith family luau which Kate recommended. It was by far the best luau that I’ve been to to date course. I’ve only been to four so keep that in mind :-)
We enjoyed our stay. A bonus was watching the cruise ships heading for Nawiliwili just as the sun rose.
