Wonderful place to stay for four adult couples. Like paradise.
Amazing house with all the amenities and space you’ll need for an unforgettable group trip (family, couples etc). The location is 15 mins or less from a ton of things to do, beaches, golf, restaurants. Daniel was super responsive with any questions. Had all the beach umbrellas, chairs, scuba and coolers you’ll need for beach days. Can’t recommend enough.
This rental is a stunner!! Absolutely beautiful inside and out! The house is amazingly spacious with 2 very large masters and one of the biggest kitchens I have ever seen. The pool and spa are very private and the unit is accommodated with toys and floats to use in the pool. Location is prefect with a short walk to a beautiful beach that is perfect for families and snorkeling. In addition to all that, the host was great! Very responsive and accommodating for check in/out. I would 100% book here again!

We absolutely loved this house and property. Our group was a mixture of friends and family. Everyone had their favorite place to relax or unwind on the property. Whether it was swimming in the pool, unwinding in the hot tub, lounging on the deck or BBQing on the grill. This place had it all. Another bonus was all of the beach chairs, mats umbrellas and towels, so we were all set. The kitchen was very large. We made most meals at the house. We enjoyed having two refrigerators as we needed them! We are already planning our return!
We enjoyed all of Maui from this location.
We had a wonderful vacation here! The home is beautiful, we loved the pool, and really appreciated all the activity gear that’s available on site (snorkel gear, life vests, pool floats, bodyboards!). We hope to stay here again next time we travel to Hawaii
Our week at the Whale House was terrific. The house was built quite a few years ago, but was originally someone’s dream retirement home and has many beautiful custom features. The living spaces are huge, the bedrooms & bathrooms are super comfortable, and the kitchen is enormous and really well equipped. We also loved having the outdoor barbeque area and the pool and jacuzzi. The house was perfect for our family.
A fuse had to be replaced for the spa, which the property manager took care of very quickly. Overall, the house is large enough to give a family group overall privacy in the setting, and each person some privacy in the well laid-out floor plan and outdoor spaces. Be aware there are two flights of stairs to get to the main living area and kitchen, but the stairs are double hand railed and carpeted. The privacy from palms and other vegetation and a private road type setting in front and a golf green up small flight of stairs in back of house was just what we wanted.
What a wonderful stay at the Whale House! This home does not disappoint. My husband and our friends had the best time. We love to cook so the kitchen was a dream! The pictures don't do it justice. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the second floor porch overlooking the pool and sunsets. Everyone had ample space and privacy. Daniel was so quick to respond with any questions we had, incredibly helpful. I would stay here in a heartbeat if we get back to Maui. Mahalo!
Excellent house, pool, location.
My family (10 total) stayed at this beautiful home for a week and had so much fun! The location is close to several beaches, shops, restaurants and exciting excursions. We loved the big kitchen, and enjoyed cooking and sitting around the large table together. The kids enjoyed the round pool as well. Would definitely stay here again…thank you!
Where do I start? Plenty of room for our blended family of 9 to space out comfortably. The upstairs area was great for eating as a family and enjoying movies and games in the evening. Fantastic/spectacular views of sunrise/sunset from the balcony, great place for your morning coffee. So close to the beach and so many other wonderful places to go. Would definitely stay here again.
This house was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. Hot tub was easy to use and private pool was great. Location was perfect easy walk or drive to the beach and shopping. The few minor issue we had were promptly address by Daniel and resolved quickly. View from the balcony was great for watching the whales in the channel. Kitchen was huge and well stocked made cooking dinners easy (the fish market Maui was a quick drive away for fresh fish) highly recommend this house if you are travelling with a larger group.
This property is incredible! This is our second time in Maui and first at the Whale House. If we make it back to Maui a third time, we will most certainly be staying here again. Excellent layout, tons of space, and nice amenities both inside and for the beach. Beautiful property located conveniently near Ka'anapali.
The pictures don’t do justice to this stunning property! It has loads of space and amenities! The hot tub had some issues, but otherwise a perfect trip!
My family (mother, sisters, brothers in law, niece, nephew, and sons) have been planning a Christmas vacation away for a long time. This house was perfect for it! Rooms were spacious including the kitchen which was large enough that several people could be helping at once prepare the meals and clean up afterwards. The large dining table allowed us all to eat together. We loved the deck outside which grill for outdoor cooking. The pool was nice however, because there was no propane available due to supply issues, we weren't able to have our pool heated during our stay. The house was very clean and organized. Having beach towels, beach chairs, and boogie boards available was great! We used them every day and then used the washing machine and dryer at night to clean all the towels for the next day. The house was in a good location near the beach. When the bicycles tires were flat and the tire pump wasn’t functional the owners dropped off a new bike pump in a timely manner so the boys could go riding. The back of the house looks onto the golf course and we had a beautiful view of the trees and the ocean from the second floor balcony. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Whale House!
