Located in the oceanfront Niihau Building, your top-floor condo features unobstructed ocean views and is filled with thoughtful touches. Enjoy morning coffee and the sound of the waves on your breezy private lanai. Whip up beach snacks in the kitchenette - with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Extras include AC, high-speed WiFi, TV, and beach towels.
THINGS TO KNOW
This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. However, towel exchanges are offered for guests every Monday and Thursday.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC.
Third-floor unit, no elevator.
Spalling repair will begin on June 23rd, and expected to be completed by August 18th. Construction on the railings, walkways, and stairs will take place between 9:00 am, and 5:00 pm.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 3.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). ) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

It would be nice to have bar height table and chairs for the lanai so the rail isn't always in your view. It would be nice to have other hooks and towel rods in the bathroom. Then vent/fan in the bathroom is really loud. Would be nice to turn the light on in the bathroom and not the fan.Need more outlets in the room. The extension cord outlets were very loose and hard to get to. The lanai door was very hard to open and the handle is loose. The view was beautiful from the lanai. Great location. We had to deal with smokers in 354 even though there are signs and you sign a contract saying no smoking on grounds. Front desk was of no help.

You can't beat this location! Open the lanai and there is the beach. The unit has everything you need for great time.

The apartment's prime location by the ocean and proximity to restaurants and stores are its standout features. However, cleanliness was an issue as I observed numerous hairs on the floor. The Vacasa team's prompt response and willingness to rectify the situation showcased their commitment to customer satisfaction. They truly excel in their service.

Top floor oceanfront unit highly recommended if you like watching whales! Everything you need within walking distance. Definitely the sunny side of the island, if the forecast says its going to rain all day, it never does.

For our age, retired, we just wanted quiet, relaxing time. This was just what we needed. This was our fourth year in a row in Kauai. We'll be back next year.

The Islander is in a good location and it has a laid back vibe. I'm familiar with the property so I knew what to expect of the location and amenities (thumbs up for those). This unit; however, needs some serious cleaning attention. Upon check in, the bathroom sink was clogged, there were spiders at the ceiling corner above the front door (in the room), the bathroom door had dirty handprints along the edges, there are tiny sand-colored ants that make their way to the dining table, and there is mold on the framed photos, portions of the walls, and on the drapes to the sliding glass doors. Maintenance was able to clean away the spiders and unclog the sink (turns out the pipe was filled with sand from prior guests). But, these are things that should be noticed and taken care of by house keeping during cleaning. I will stay at the Islander again, but not likely in this unit.

Great location to overlooking the ocean. Property is close to shopping and restaurants. The beach on the property is very small but almost no one goes there. Would definitely stay again!
