Pros: 1) The condo is in a great location with lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance and the beach and pool are just steps away. 2) We had plumbing issues on day 2, which was addressed ASAP. (Very responsive and helpful.)3) Beautiful grounds with lots of wild roasters and chickens.Cons: 1) As the pictures show, the space is a little outdated but still comfortable.2) The listing show washer and dryer which is NOT true. When you get to the condo there is a binder with instructions to the nearest laundromat, which is 3 minutes driving away. We had counted on having (easier) access to laundry facilities.3) The door to the patio is very hard to open and shut due to the paneling at the top being split off.4) The TV is tricky and while there are detailed instructions we had issues with "No Data Available" and "Guide Data Unavailable" errors a few times; i.e. no working TV.
It’s small, but as advertised. Room was clean. Vacasa was helpful in immediately resolving a WiFi issue. Location was great!
Clean, nice and cool room
The home was cozy and convenient to some beautiful views and right next door to the Lava Lava Beach Club.
They say location is everything and this was no exception. Steps from the sand, a view of the beach/ocean from the patio, beach chairs, MORE than enough beach towels, a little ice chest for our outings, tons of storage space for clothes and items, an amazing welcome gift of snacks with the best pineapple we have ever had (and one of our party lived on Oahu for 3 years), beautiful gardens, strong reliable wifi, and I’m sure I’m missing something. Half of our party is always freezing, the other half is always hot, this room would have satisfied Goldilocks. We set the air conditioner when we arrived and didn’t have to adjust it once. We are already looking for a booking to go back next year and plan to stay at the Islander on the Beach. ** We were given 3/4 a roll of toilet paper and were told we’d have to buy our own if we needed more, odd but no reason to take any stars off.
We loved the location of this resort. We wish the bar at the pool was open earlier than 3 pm. They need more lounges at the pool. The room was damp all the time and smelled musty. The a/c didn’t really work :(
Great Location!! Unfortunately the mattress (closest to kitchenette) really needs to be replaced - it dips terribly. And there’s a bad musty-mildew smell the whole time we were there (ran AC and opened door for fresh air - but it really needs fans/dehumidifier)
Great little village near the place. Nice view, gorgeous place!
We were very happy with the area and the information we received prior, during and after reservation. Welcome gift was awesome. We will reccommend as often as possible.
