Great place in Maui! definitely coming back.
Absolutely loved this property. Would give 5,000 stars if it let me. So clean. So beautiful. So serene. We liked being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, this truly was a slice of heaven. Great location for the Road to Hana, Kaanapali Beach, Haleakala. Close to Makawao where we went to a Paniolo Rodeo! Check in and Check out were an absolute breeze. I will bookmark and save this Property so I can come back for my 50th!
Property was clean, nicely set up, beautiful setting and views. Our room,1, was spacious with comfortable bed, loveseat and bistro table. The common space, kitchen, living, dining was large and and comfortable. Light breakfast items were good-yogurt, bagels, waffles, eggs, tea, coffee and fruit. It was in an excellent location to get an early start in the Road to Hana, without having to get up too early. I would highly recommend staying here! tea
We liked absolutely everything about this place. Could have easily moved in. Extremely relaxing and comfortable. Very nicely decorated. Quiet neightborhood. Wonderful DIY breakfast provided the next morning. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our friends stayed there a week later and felt the same.
Lovely hosts and generous breakfast fare, fresh eggs straight from their chickens. The Jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise. Quiet and serene home away from home. Highly recommended especially if headed to Hana.
Wonderful, well-appointed, clean room in a good location. Self serve breakfast was appreciated!
Excellent location. Kind owners
My wife and I chose to spend all 5 days of our Maui vacation on the North Shore B&B. This was our first trip to Maui, and we wanted a home base for exploration that was away from the more touristy parts of the island. Given the traffic gridlock elsewhere on the island, this proved to be a good decision. Very low-key and chill, this was the ideal spot for heading west to Road to Hana, east to Lahaina, or South to Wailua.

Booking and communicating about extending our stay was simple. Our room on the first floor was spacious with a comfortable bed, table for 2, huge closet, clean bathroom, and private back patio. We shared the main common area with 2 other rooms. The kitchen was equipped with everything, the breakfast items were always well stocked, and all guests made sure to pick up after themselves. Having a large spacious room plus the common living rooms gave "suite" vibes. I would stay here again because I liked having tons of space vs. a traditional hotel on the west side.
WOW! The pictures do not do this place justice! The home is so lovely and comfortable. It truly feels like a home away from home. We unfortunately arrived late in the evening and checked out early for our flight so we did not get much time here. We wish we could have stayed longer!! Just a note to anyone who has an early morning flight -- our Lyft driver said we were very lucky he was able to pick us up at 5:30am, typically no one is hanging around the area at that hour. So you may want to plan ahead if you do not have your own rental car.
This room was conveniently located beyond Paia and the beautiful cliffs at Ho'okipa Beach Park. While we were there, the waves were historically big! There are 3 rentable rooms in this location, with a shared kitchen. I didn't understand that when I booked. The refrigerator space is shared with any other vacationers. Just make sure you label your items well. There were several community (host provided) bananas before I went to bed. When I got up for breakfast, around 6am, they were all gone. We left early and didn't ask the host for more bananas or eggs. I think we used all but 1 egg.I'd stay here again and bring my own food.
It was a beautiful property. Private, off the beaten path. The common space was very nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. View of the ocean, too!
The property is quiet, located off the road down a long drive way. The kitchen had everything you need if you like to cook. We ate every meal on the back patio that overlooks the ocean off in the distance. The included breakfast was a great bonus! Location was excellent to be near the beginning of the road to Hana as well as Haleakala National Park.
It was welcoming, easy to access, comfortable and so very quiet.
The set up with the units allows a unique balance between friendly interaction between travelers and easy access to privacy. Very well done!
The food selection in the kitchen was ample..coffee and tea options too.
Great food at the Jaws market just 3 minutes away (drive).. The Magic Oven, attached to the backside, offers great breakfast options, hamburgers, etc, and oven fired pizza.
We were completely happy with the accomodations.. shower was awesome too!
Very clean with beautiful grounds. Great location between airport and mile marker 0 for Road to Hana. Community kitchen and living room were huge and everything you need to make yourself a nice breakfast was provided.
Haiku was a pleasant surprise! Very private, lush surroundings, nice breakfast.
Room was large and comfortable. Seriously, we only slept there and had breakfast. Off to adventures.
Rooms was large, comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. Great location especially if heading up the Road to Hana. Quick jaunt back into Paia. Kitchen had everything we could want and food for breakfast was simple but perfect for our needs (eggs, bagels, tougher and waffles with tea and coffee— even decaf).
Very nice, well maintained B&B.
Beautiful, peaceful. Nice kitchen. Wish I could have stayed longer!
Lovely room and communal kitchen with views over the garden to the ocean.
It was a good base from which to explore Maui
We arrived in Maui & wanted to be located close to the beginning of “The Road to Hana”. Location was perfect. It is less than a half hour from the airport & minutes from the start of the drive. Accommodations were lovely too! We really appreciated their hospitality of having breakfast available for us too!
Location was great for road to Hana, and the breakfast amenities were a huge convenience. Harold was very responsive to questions. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone asking about my road to Hana experience in the future!

Peaceful and very pleasant! A secluded bungalow in lush HaʻikÅ« with three rooms, perfect for three couples traveling together or separately. Listen to the birds chirp, coconut trees swaying in the trade winds, evening showers...simple pleasures between explorations of the rest of the island. Other amenities: shared full kitchen for breakfast, beach chairs, snorkel and fins...just wish there were a bit more storage to unpack clothes.
Close to beginning of Hana Highway scenic drive. Clean rooms, nice little patio for morning coffee. Great kitchen/balcony in shared space. Met the owner and his wife. They were very responsive and attentive to our needs.
Great place, picnic worthy grassy yard, good views from upstairs shared kitchen we didn’t know was included
This property was beautiful with a view of the ocean. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the common area of the kitchen and living area. We would have enjoyed a longer stay at this beautiful property but we’re really grateful that we could rent it for our first night in Maui before we headed to Hana. We will love to return.
This was the perfect place to stay at the close of my trip! Haiku is gorgeous. Close to Paia, Mama’s Fish House, the town center in Haiku, and Ho’okipa.
The grounds are stunning. The neighbors are glorious. I recommend visiting the lily growers. Incredibly friendly, generous people.
Would come back for sure!!
Spacious accommodation, convenient to places we wanted to go in Maui, beautiful common area,
Very nice private bedroom and bath and large, shared living room, kitchen and porch. Nicely appointed. Rural quiet setting. Perfect launching point for the drive to Hana
