Most incredible place on the entire island. While there might be more swank places stay, I'm not sure any has this kind of backyard access to gorgeous bay. House was well equipped and taken care of. Our family had a wonderful time. 2 papayas was super as well.

Kolea and its setting right on the beach was outstanding, as usual. Unfortunately the mega-storm contaminated the cove for the entire stay and we were unable to swim or snorkel. And it took the allure of the beach itself.Brian Collins

This home was absolutely perfect for our family and made our stay even better than we imagined. The view from the back porch and easy access to the beautiful beach were a favorite! The house had all the comforts of home…well stocked for cooking, easy to use amenities such as TV, washer/dryer, plenty of linens and comfy beds. Mary was extremely attentive and made sure our stay was perfect. We happily recommend this wonderful home!

Kolea provided a wonderful quiet (well with bird song and the rhythmic waves) retreat from the world. The second floor perch with a direct view of the ocean imparted calm and peace amidst beauty and comfort. The space was welcoming and obviously well taken care of. We first stayed with 2Papaya in 2016 & this is our 2nd stay at Kolea House. We have also stayed at least three times at the Ehu Kai house, four times at the Honu house, and once at the Blue Makai house. As always, the house was perfect and the 2Papayas crew was friendly & helpful. Staying at Beach 69 with 2Papayas is our go-to relaxing vacation. The beach is stunning, with mild to no surf, snorkeling, and plenty of shade. Walking out the front gate and directly onto the beach is an amazing feeling every time you do it. The upstairs lanai overlooks the ocean, but still feels private from the beach because of the vegetation surrounding the property. Kolea House is perfectly set up for families or groups traveling together. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and everything is spotless. My favorite feature of staying with 2Papayas is their dedication to using unscented cleaning and laundry products. Vacation rentals often reek of highly scented cleaning products, air fresheners, scented trash bags, dryer sheets, etc. At Kolea House, and at the other 2Papayas properties we've stayed at, all you smell is the scent of the plumeria and gardenia being carried on the ocean breeze. We are booked to come back to 2Papayas paradise in six months.
